Its beyond hilarious to me that Kawaki could relate to a random wolf before he’s even related to Sumire who actually told her whole life story to him lol

Even what he describes is the complete opposite of what Sumire said he did. She assumed he wasnt lashing out because he wanted to, but right here he says he was as overcompensation for his weakness. Sure he had no personal beef with Boruto and co but they WERE holding him hostage and trying to force him back against his will. He lashed out because he he really believed they were working with Kara or that they were only trying to use him as a lab rat like Kara did, all of which Kawaki wanted to lash out about, justifiably so. But the way Sumire phrases it makes it seem like Kawaki was being forced to or was only making himself lash out when he didnt really want to.

Kawaki could have avoided confrontation if he just stayed put and cooperated, he didnt have to resist and could have just stayed there until his body healed and THEN fled. The only reason Kawaki was in any confrontation with anyone is because he MADE them confront him due to his actions and so he defended himself and kept escalating the situation. If Kawaki truly didnt want to lash out like Sumire implied he would have avoided confrontation and waited till the right moment to escape with as little possibility of violence as possible.

This post isnt supposed to be long so I’ll cut it here lol but this really is hilarious, this was the perfect time to make that connection, considering it was written by the same writer, this was the perfect time to have Kawaki recall what Sumire said to him since he even used the same words as she did ‘I was just like him’

But nope, nothin, and people have the nerve to say their close and gonna be canon lol he doesnt even relate to her or recalls anything she said yet Im supposed to believe their endgame? that she means more to him than Sarada? gimme a break.
