Caged Death
After speaking with Clockwork, Danny discovered that the Ghost King's job was not only as the ruler of the Realms or the caretaker of the ghosts, but also as the representative of death.
It turns out that death has taken different personifications over the centuries (and because of the number of dimensions) but they always needed a leader. The Ghost King was meant to be the one to guide them and do most of the work, guiding the humans' souls to a better place and help when needed, which is why he needed so much power in the first place. This was obviously neglected by his predecessor, making the current deaths suspicious.
Although it was hard, Danny began to do his work, he noticed the misinterpretation that people had of death, and how those who were at the end of their lifetime understood it better. When he went to visit one of the dimensions that had recently gone through a war, he was captured.
An old wizard had discovered that he could trap death and prevent it from spreading. He caught the King and demanded that he return the soul of his son, he also demanded him to go away and take no one else with it.
Danny refused, those souls needed to rest, and the other personifications of death could do his work in the other dimensions but since they knew that he would take care of DC dimension problem, he was worried that he had stopped the cycle of life by accident on the dimension.
The Justice League were undecided on how to proceed, wasn't the lack of death good?, but after John Constantine took them to the hospital with all the injured begging to rest in peace they understood, although Batman seemed reluctant to help, Robin's recent death was probably still affecting him.

For the Day 1 hetaween event : Folkand myth - Undead - harvest
"Ghana and Owuo, the cannibal god
In the past, before the nation couldn't fully understood what they were, they were mythologic as the gods were. Frightening gods from the myths, rampaging, protecting or distraughting humans.
Nation, deeply rooting with human, had to stand their frantic behavior. Often, only them could survive the encounter....
Ghana hasn't forgotten the day his eyes had wistand the one of Owuo, the abosom of Death, lured by the blood of the fellow peasant of the little village in full harvest season.
Not amount of magic could have saved from the immortal god that not even others of its kind could face. The 'undead' gorilla gazed at him with his unique eye, and his bloody smile still brought terror for decades, before the giant left.
Now, the memory slowly faded in his people's mind, but that one fear still lurk in his nightmare : no one, not even nation, can escape the eye of death."

I SOOO wanted to draw some african country folklore! They are under-represented (granted, it is hard because I think it's mostly oral tradition) whereas I'm sure there is a lot to do with them!
I searched for a god of field or death, similar to Demeter and found in the akan 'deity' Owuo, described as a kind of sadistic god mowing human. Mowing, harvest...yeah, it could do!
I don't like creating too much OC for country, I wanted one that Himapapa had already draw, and Ghana was one of them! Of course, the time of the deity was ancient, so I draw him very young!
If you are interested, I found mostly the info on wikipedia : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owuo
Note that Owuo has 2 apparences, and since I couldn't find much representation of him on internet, I fused some element from his description on my own interpretation.
Having the majority of one's deities have some sort of psychopomp aspect, as well as having a spirit bond who is an entity tied to negative events/death events means I always get to know before everyone else when a death is about to touch someone and it's always weird.
Especially when I realise it after the fact rather than in the moment.
A member of our church died yesterday. I saw him on Sunday, but I knew he was gonna die. I just didn't figure it out until tonight when we were talking about it at band practice.
We had passed each other in the hall at church, and we were on either side of the hallway so enough space that a whole other person could have walked between us. Except there was this energy encasing him. And it was really similar to the energy I felt electrify me the moment my old boss' daughter died years ago, and it felt like I had this dolly zoom moment in the astral as we passed and my energy almost slammed into his energy (well, the energy surrounding him) and time slowed down as we walked by each other. And I remember saying something to him, but it wasn't me that said it, and it wasn't in the material plane either, and his eyes went white and glared at me. And then I slammed back into the physical plane and continued towards the toilets and he acted like he hadn't even noticed we passed each other.
It was fucking wilddddd.
Sent my sincere apologies to a well known musical artist, whom I judged when his high profile death occurred years ago, after reading about his youth and trauma... Received less than 2 hours later a message from a father in Gaza asking for help paying for treatment for his son, who has a condition that the artist had.
The Dead hear us, very loudly and very clearly.

Me: *shook get up quickly and sit* is this... is you??.
Hades: YES its me!
Me: ... r u sur- *get HUGE goosebumps* okay. It's you.
Hades: you spend much time with this light on your face and that's why u r not thinking right (context: I've been away too much on my phone and I complained about it but I still working it, and the fact that I use too much it's actually affecting my vision lol). Get up, take your shower, and just BE. Just breath. Just stay present. No information (read), no phone, no stimulation. Just be. (Context: I have anxiety and problems to concentrate and sometimes- a lot more that I wish it was - I do things completely automatic i don't even register that I did lol, and be so long on my phone, on social media has been affecting me very negatively and I know that and He knows that too and that's why he was kind mad)
Me: okay. And I agree, I actually don't want to be in my phone even though that I continue but... can I write.. this? *sad face* please?
Hades: ... yes. But put the phone away.
Me: okay🥰😚😊
