5 Things Meme
I was tagged by @declarations-of-drama for this meme, thank you :-).
5 things in my bag.
Five things...
my wallet,
pens,
tire pressure gauge,
measure tape,
reading glasses.
Girls gotta be prepared, ya know? Of course if you asked what was under my bed I’d have to tell you a pick ax, rusty machete, lawn bags, a shovel and extra carpet. True story but that’s not part of the meme, is it ;-).
5 things you’ll find in my room.
Well, I suppose it would depend on which room. Let’s do the front room. Besides the obvious stuff like the television and couch, we have:
my beloved computer,
my birds Squeak (ring neck parakeet) and Billy (peach faced lovebird),
my collection of snowglobes and fantasy figurines,
books
cat trees.
5 things that make me happy
We will keep it simple because more than five things make me happy.
My pets: Benjamin, Alice, Tobias, Squeak, Billy, Freddy the outside kitty and my fishes
My plants-I love gardening, no yard but I have garding tools from when I did (see *under bed reference*)
Listening to the church bells, they have recently started ringing the bells after years of silence.
Watching sunrises and sunsets.
Seeing people happy. It could be some random folks that I don’t know, but I like seeing people be genuinely happy. It’s not something I see too often, honestly.
5 things I’m currently into
I’m not currently into anything except constantly working but my hobbies when I have free time are:
Loom knitting and needle knitting. I’m not great but it’s fun when I have the time.
Doodling. I used to be able to draw very well. I had an art scholarship and was commissioned occasionally by friends to draw portraits and what not when I was in in high school and in my twenties. I was too flaky to stick to it. I squandered my gift.
Playing Sims...obviously.
Taking pictures, whether it is in real life or in game I LOVE to take pictures. I love capturing moments.
Reading and learning. That’s a two for one.
5 things on my to-do list
Hmmm, I’m not very ambitious. I’m not a person that plans far in the future either so this will be basic:
Not die, obviously.
Eat and live as healthy as possible
Be kind
Give when I can
Be aware of what is going on around me. Appreciate everything when I can. Life is too short to run around with one’s head up their keister.
