This passage from FT Vol 12 is set in AC189, further cementing Mariemaia's status as a clone made by Sally's mother so Leia Barton could have spare parts. Une's later decision to give Mariemaia to Sally makes sense in this regard since Sally's mother is technically Mariemaia's mother too. Sally is the closest thing Mariemaia has to a sister.
This is just damn cool.
I wanted to ask the artist if I could post this on my GW blog, but they turned off the comments. :(
Gundam Wing Novels artwork - Part 6
The Gundam Wing novels contain some amazing art work! When I mentioned it on the LS server, I was asked to share, so I took pictures of everything. Might as well share them here!
Art from Endless Waltz volume 2, chapters 1 -5
'She Spun Gold Thread and Rebellion'
More artwork I did for the recent Rhythm Generation zine. :) This was meant to be a simple piece on the Rumplestiltskin story but ended up occupying a lot of space in my brain re: fibrecraft and feminism, and the actual historic importance of work which is now devalued. :/ Anyway. art.
Wing Zero’s fall and Mariemaia’s defeat in the original, obscure Endless Waltz manga, which isn’t wide-spread due to its crappy art. Note how Heero intends to kill himself after he kills Relena (d’aww- wait, what?) and how the girl with the puppy is not supposed to parallel Relena but Mariemaia.
I have the whole thing, both in English and in French, so drop me a line if you’re interested in reading it.
[fighting White Fang]
Duo: First Zechs Merquise, now Dorothy Catalonia! Who are we going to bump into next huh, freakin’ Dekim Barton?!
Trowa: ...How do you know who that is?
