I hope Bernie Sanders is the Democratic Nominee. He is the person who will be best able to win in a contest against Trump. Idgaf about winning over allegedly “moderate” Republicans who aren’t ever going to vote for a Democrat anyway. 

And it’s really depressing that politicians only ask “how much will it cost, and how will we pay for it,” when we’re talking about things that will actually help people. Politicians never ask that about wars.

In 2016 Clinton Democrats weaponized identity politics, and it paid off for them. They claimed that they categorically opposed men with credible sexual assault charges against them. “Believe women,” they said. They even said that a (intentionally mischaracterized) “rape fantasy” essay, written by Sanders in college, should have been enough to disqualify him.

Okay.

Now fast forward to 2020, and they’re telling everyone who will listen that they might need to vote for Mike Bloomberg, a man who has at least 64 credible sexual harassment charges against him. That we know of. In fact, Bloomberg has even more sexual harassment charges against him than Trump does. But Democrats are still backing Bloomberg over Sanders, who has (hang on, let me count) zero sexual harassment charges against him??

This alone should inform you how much centrists care about women and voters in general. They care so much about protecting their establishment candidates that they are willing to tell voters to vote for a known misogynistic, racist, sexual predator.

The hypocrisy of the DNC is astounding. It stinks to high heaven.

I cannot wait to see Democrats try argue in an election that “Our sexual harasser is better than YOUR sexual harasser.” All Republicans will do is bring up all of the sexual assault and rape accusations against Bill Clinton, trot out something like the image above, and then finish with, “Why do Democrats like rapists so much, and why did the Democrats rig the primaries against Sanders?” #ClintonFeminism

And heaven forbid, if Bloomberg does become the Democratic nominee, you can be 100 percent certain that Republicans will use Bloomberg’s past against him. And the sad thing is, they won’t be lying. Because they won’t have to.

The Democratic Party should be ashamed of themselves. Bloomberg is Trump’s ideal opponent. He is quite literally the most risky candidate to run against Trump.

We have a second chance to help get Bernie Sanders elected in 2020. I really hope enough people vote for him during the Democratic primaries.
