Despite all claims to the contrary, a democratic system can cascade into it's own form of tolitarianism. One that could eclipse the most authoritarian or autocratic states. In those states, the rule is absolute, yet its apparent and understood. In a democracy, to paraphrase Sunic and Samuel Francis' "Anarcho-tyranny," it's more insidious. It takes on a form of it's own through the academic, media, political, business and bureaucratic institutions that borders on the psychotic. To quote Sorban, compared to King George III when he ruled the colonists, are we freer or have more "liberty?"
