The webs around your lair have been…modified, to accommodate for Claude, you didn’t want him accidentally getting trapped by you more often than it already happens. As tempting as it was to leave then webs everywhere to mess with him, he was scared enough of you, bowing his head to you every time you came home.

He changed from calling you ‘demon’ to ‘Master’ after a few days, to which you were indifferent too, you let him call you whatever you please, though he preferred you used his name.

You watched with amusement as he fidgets with some of your webs, something you’ve told him not to do, not because he’d get hurt but, he isn’t immune to how strong the stick on them is. As they were your own, you were immune to them, but Claude wasn’t. To your joy he almost instantly got a reminder ‘why’ he should t touch them.

He tugged on the web, trying to pull his hand free, managing to tug free, only to fall on your nesting area. Luckily for him, you don’t have eggs that could have been damaged buuut…he was now stuck in the webs, sprawled out. He locked eyes with you for a second. He quickly averted his eyes, trying to subtly wiggle free.

You approach him with a grin and a sway in your hips. You seat yourself beside him and carefully remove the webs so he can get up without ruining his outfit. “You should wear an extra layer of clothes you can slip out of until your used to the layout of my den.” Claude quietly thanks you and apologizes.

“I’ll try not to be so clumsy next time,” He nervously glanced at your nesting area, once seeing its unchanged, he seemed to relax more. “Where did you go?” He ask nonchalantly. You purr out that you got some food. You showed him your bounties, today you were able to bring back three souls!

“Eat up, I already had my fill.” You love the confused look he gives you every time you offer him food. You had jokingly told him you were keeping him till you had your eggs, but you had openly stated before to him, you’re keeping him!

He didn’t eat, you know he’ll eat them when you’re not around, you’re not sure if he keeps them incase you change your mind about wanting to eat him. You’ve found where he hides some and you know he has eaten them from time to time since he’s asked about where you found such a person and he could describe their taste correctly.

You didn’t know how much he was eating so you’d try to bring back extra, you couldn’t have your pet go hungry! Even though he had the odd habit of hiding souls, if you ever complained about being hungry, he’d disappear and come back with some of the souls you e given him, offering them back to you.

He’s honestly the only mate you’ve let in your lair, and one of the few you didn’t eat.

You honestly enjoy his company, and when he is comfortable enough to eat infront of you, he’ll do it. But you know he’s too…shy? Submissive?…scared? You don’t know the right word, but you are sure he doesn’t see himself on the same level as you, and though he technically isn’t, you want him to understand he’s not on the menu, even if you run out of food.

You had even let him place ‘furniture’ he made to make your home more…’homey’? You don’t rember what word he used but it seemed to have given him comfort.

Claude snapped you out of your train of thought by gently brushing against you. You glance over to see he’s holding…a dress he knitted. It looks genuinely nice, but far too flashy to wear while hunting…or really to wear out in the woods where you live.

You lean over and give him a kiss, you didn’t care for the gesture but it always seemed to boost his mood if the blush on his cheeks and the small smile that slips for a few seconds are anything to go by. “Thank you, Claude. It looks great.” You without hesitation tossed off what you were wearing to put it on, you wanted to see what it looked like!

Once you had it on properly, you turned to see Claude looking the other way with a deep blush on his cheeks. You step infront of him and he meets your gaze. “It fits your form well.” He said in a soft tone. You smiled and noticed how he’s eyeing your thigh. With a glance you see there’s an opening, you hadn’t shut the dress and tied the back, so it was left unsecured. “L-let me fix it.”

Claude starts readjusting your dress but you step back with a grin. “Naw, it’s okay, but you’re a little overdressed right now. Let’s take care of that, ok?” Claude paused for a second. He was still getting used to you, your behavior and everything about you. You knew as a fellow demon he could to an extent sense your intentions, and you waited to see if he’d back down.

To your pleasure he caught on and took of his dress shirt and tie. “My apologies Master. Tell me when you think I’m dressed appropriately for the occasion.” He’s slow with removing his clothes, hesitant to expose himself in front of you still.

You wait till he’s taking his shirt off to step forward and pull his cock out of his pants. Claude visibly jumped at the contact. “This’ll do nicely.” With nothing underneath the dress, you open it to show him your core as your hand worked his cock to hardness.

With Crowley, it's a bit harder to see since he's been letting the humans do his job for him and taking the credit. He doesn't seem interested in direct confrontation. He likes to cause general population unrest more than individual damning. So his demon ways are more subtle. But look closely, children.

Demons' Emotions & Body Language

Because why the hell not talk about something that has probably been written/talked about a hundred times before? XD I'm in the mood to write about Mephisto because my brain is occupied by thoughts of him in some way 99% of the time.

This was spurred on by once again seeing Mephisto's great teeth appreciation and it reminded me of how much I actually love looking at his facial expressions in general.

He's just so fucking good at expressing himself, lol. And then I begin to wonder...

How much of it is staged/faked/put on, how much comes natural to him? If even at all?

Did he have a period where he tested out all the different facial expressions humans tend to make in certain situations? Did he go and study them? Is it like a game for him? Knowing the Human-Emotions-101 better than even humans themselves, just to have even more power and control over his cute toys?

^Ch. 46 We know he's a little stalker gremlin, so people watching is one of his greatest hobbies - it would certainly help him out with accurately mimicking their body language.

Did he have a rough time when he first started to make contact with humans face to face? :( Because I know that even humans struggle with body language and facial expressions. Totally not looking at me, who's often laughing and smiling, simply hoping it's appropriate because I often don't fully understand what's going on. :')

Considering Mephisto is a pro at acting all human or demon (depending on which outcome he wants to reach, making certain behaviors necessary to manipulate everyone's actions) with how much time he has spent with humans and his obsession with them and their creations...

What is it like for all the demons possessing human bodies?

Amaimon seems to struggle a lot using the muscles in his face, if that side-story panel is anything to by. XD

Moving a sack of flesh can be rough, buddy. I feel you there, my resting bitch face often scares strangers and I have to always check in to make sure I don't look as dead as I feel.

Amaimon is obviously able of actually showing emotions, evident in the manga, but I think there's one he expresses more often than others: anger.

Thinking of anger... There's Satan.

^Ch. 105 Before he came into (regular) contact with Yuri he could only show anger when threatened/searching for Yuri. All other expressions seem to have been actively taught to him over a certain span of time.

Same with Rin when he was born.

^Ch. 109 Though the threatening circumstances might have triggered/amplified that little ugly burning potato's anger. :x

Looking towards Lucifer is pretty much the same, though his anger is often more of the hidden kind and not as openly expressed. Same with Mephisto though. Maybe it's their age (though their behavior doesn't exactly reflect maturity, both of them are brats in their own rights) or simply who they inherently are.

The rest of the demon kings are... definitely emotional and expressive too, which is weird because why would they feel the need to mimic human behaviors and expressions? (Might be reason for another ramble, this post is already so much longer than I intended for it to be XD)

In conclusion...

All of it makes me think that anger is the one emotion that demons might inherently feel and express, anything beyond is something they need to actively learn about over time.

Which is incredibly sad the more I think about it.

I also think most demons (possessing human bodies) have to consciously think about what kind of facial expression/body language goes along with whatever they're feeling - if they want to outwardly express them.

Do they even feel the need to do that in the first place though? And if yes, why? Considering they don't have bodies in Gehenna, it wouldn't make much sense for them to inherently have some body language if they don't have bodies that support it, would it?

And yet we've seen how feral demons can be, Rin is a prime example when he gets overwhelmed by his demon side. All snarling, showing teeth and growling and it's something I (and many other people) love incorporating in our writing all the time because feral demons and the way they threaten each other is just peak content that I desperately need to continue living. XD
