Can I please have more details on how you perceive Rumi & Celine’s dynamic if you theorize Celine as a Demon?
Well, I don't actually see her as a demon canon-wise, so my opinion on their relationship remains based on the human Celine, half-demon Rumi dynamic we are given until something within the canon narrative says otherwise.
Headcanon-wise, it depends if we're talking about if she's just a demon, or is also Rumi's "father".
For the non-bio parent demon Celine HC, I see her as basically the same as canon Celine, just with added self-hatred issues tacked onto her other problems.
For the bio parent demon Celine HC, I see it as her almost being in denial. She's lying to herself and she's so wrapped up in guilt and self-loathing that she ends up being unable to acknowledge her own demonhood.
She retains her dislike for Rumi's "father", but since she's the one who sired her, she sees herself as responsible for robbing both Miyeong (who in this AU died during childbirth) of her life, and Rumi of having a normal human childhood.
Demon Celine wouldn't just be zealous in her fight against demons because she's a hunter, she's doing it out of some form of repentance.
She's so full of shame and remorse that has steered her to becoming humanity's protector that she acts as an anti-thesis of sorts to other demons. This also makes her unable to recognize Rumi's needs. Celine would be operating as a demon, who loves humanity, but is still mired in negative emotions where humanity's need for emotional expression is something alien to her in her current state.
I also think she wasn't under GM's control ever and was either independent or part of another group. She never liked him even when she wasn't a hunter.
