I really don't want to spend money on anything even remotely related to tom king, but I did read (before I knew who or what he is) WoT, and I liked it... probably because DC was holding him back from some of his goofier ideas.
I hear that the film does not have that specific line that we all know and love, the one about dreams and Krypton, iykyk.
If that's true, that's a very weird choice, because it is important for realizing how much of the story is about the lost trying to guide the lost. It's so sad and so very poignant.
Grace Ashcroft as Leon's bio daughter he never knew existed. Oh AO3... prepare yourself hehehehehe.
People hate on Mia Winters but I kinda wanna see her back again so we can explore the Connections from the inside.
Give her a redemption arc and have her go out in a goop of mold.
She doesnt even have to be redeemed, just give her smth to work off of. Seriously she was practically discarded in RE8 despite her (albeit mostly unintentional) role in the events of the last two games.
Just do smth with ffs, she's got a lot of unused potential
Those people who wanted Mia to be the protagonist of RE8? Geniuses.
I love Ethan, but Mia has more history with the overall plot with the connections.
Also I think they did Eveline dirty.
If she and Ethan were BOTH protagonists I would've loved that. Especially because we never really get to see the relationship Mia has with her daughter. All we know is that Rosemary, as of the dlc, hasn't seen her for a while.
I understand that she was taken by Miranda as part of her plan but I would've liked a little more of her than just.....she looks at the village at the end of the game with a neutral expression....yay.
She has shady connections and while she may not have necessarily closely known Miranda, she worked with her in the past. Have Mia actually do smth about her daughter and husband.
Just give me more of Mia in general, her lack of appearances leaves SO many questions unanswered.
And yeah Eveline was definitely done a little dirty but I do also understand why
"The Father's Story has Concluded."
But where's is MOTHER?

I still think Grace is a clone, just not the original. I think Spencer lied about her being a normal baby he adopted, because nobody knew about the clone production scheme outside of him and umbrella employees. I don't think he'd admit that in an interview, even if he is trying to atone.
If his "redemption" arc is sincere, then maybe he found a remaining embryo and decided to give her a better life than just killing her or experimenting on her.
WHERE IS MIA CAPCOM????????!!!!!
Watching AKOTSK and seeing how socially awkward, weird and humble as hell Dunk is, and thinking about how much Brienne would have adored him if she’d ever met him, they would’ve got along in the most precious way ever.

Cl*rk stans will wax poetic about how Superman is a story about adoption and how blood isn't what really makes you someone's parent, just to turn around and defend him leaving Kara at an orphanage.
I actually hate that superhero stories have exploited adoptee stories and orphan trauma to give their characters depth, because you can tell they don't really think adoptees are REAL family when you watch as they shove biological kids above adopted ones and treat abandonment like a joke.
DC and Marvel can both go to hell. Pairing Laura Kinney up with a MAN and not Cassandra Cain is bad enough. But then you've got t*m k*ng writing for Lois Lane and MJ. Just say you hate women atp.
You...do know that Tom Taylor had a well-received run with Nightwing, right? He was crossing over two characters he's PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN.
Irrelevant. I don't care that he wants to make his two dolls kiss. This is the first time DC and Marvel have let their streams cross in years, I despise Laura's time being wasted on her musings about a man she has zero history with. It's time for DC and Marvel to let Cassandra Cain and Laura Kinney hang out. Then Taylor can go have her pal around with a man she has no need for.
She has no more history with Cassandra, either, so what fucking difference does it make? Especially because Laura and Dick are both the heirs apparent of their fathers/father figures. They occupy the same role in their respective families, meaning they face the same pressures and expectations from others.
Now you know, I know, and Taylor himself knows the crux of Laura's character is not that she's taking up Logan's mantle.
Cass and Laura are both female legacy characters of male heroes who were raised to be weapons first and people maybe. They struggle with socialization and articulating themselves. Their journeys are innately about learning to accept their wholeness as humans, while struggling to come to terms with what happened to them. They ask a painful question: Who am I without trauma?
Dick's character is a different archetype who serves a different role.
Also, I want more women + women teammups for this crossover event. Lois Lane and MJ are fun, but the fact that they're put together because they're iconic female love interests inherently ties their worth as a crossover to their romantic lives. Marvel and DC have some great female superheroes. Iconic ones. Where are they? They can get uncle Ben and Pa Kent together before letting two women unite to fight villains or just hang out with one another?

Not watching Supergirl 2026 (at least not legally) because fuck t*m k*ng. But I hear Lobo gets two fight scenes... asinine choice to put him in THIS specific story. Makes as much sense as putting him into a Dark Knight or Killing Joke adaption. Are we afraid of self-contained stories with no forced crossovers?

I love Clark, so I don't want any of his stans up my ass about this. If you disagree with this look away.
I don't understand why so many people, who clearly have never picked up modern Supergirl comics, have such strong opinions on what Kara's canon personality is.
To be a fan of female offshoots of male heroes is to understand that you're probably not getting a consistent characterization of them for more than two runs.
Is she happy and bubbly? Is she openly in pain and angry? Is she putting on a positive facade to cover her immense grief? Well that depends on the writer and what the narrative is asking of her.
