Quick one shot idea but Izuku and Shigaraki being brothers but their father is basically Satan and I don’t mean that figuratively. Shigaraki’s next heir for the throne but suddenly disappears. Izuku at first doesn’t really notice because it’s not that off for him to be gone for a while but then it’s longer than usual and he realizes somethings wrong.
Everyone looks for him but there’s no leads, eventually everyone gives up hope. Izuku doesn’t stop hoping but he does stop actively searching. Izuku is trained as next for the throne (although it’s not gonna come by anytime soon as Hisashi is still in his prime he’s not really old he just has kids)
No one really likes Izuku as prince though because he’s actually really nice and it makes any demon or spirit or whatever feel bad doing anything to him. Also his crying is basically a weapon because it’s really gross and no one knows how to deal with a sobbing seven year old.

One day his dad comes back but refuses to see anyone in person. Izuku is appointed to take care of the affairs of hell. Hisashi is still willing to take responsibility of being king but it’s kind of awkward to be sent an email saying “Why yes We understand the importance of this meeting however the King refuses to be seen in person make do, good day.”
When he does appear in public it’s in his official uniform helmet that Izuku swears he’s heard him complain about it way too many times for him to willingly wear it when he doesn’t have to.
There is those few moments, without any reason, Hisashi calls him to his room. He’s not allowed to open his eyes but these moments his dad just hugs him and breathes. After a few moments he’s sent away and they don’t talk about it.
It sends red flags but Izuku allows himself to indulge.

Soon he’s asked by someone he once knew a favor, her son has recently joined a hero school but was attacked by a group of villains. He’s alright he’s strong but she can’t say she’s confident that next time he’ll be fine.
“You don’t have to stay there all the time, I know you have duties here. I simply ask you check up on him once in a while, make a charm for him, go with him to off campus field trips anything.”
She’s always been a bit of a wild one, her pride was her greatest trait. There’s been rumors she’s eloped with a kind hearted mortal although her son is human.
Izuku considers his options but it’s not much of a decision. He’s been bored recently, paperwork’s piles up and his fathers not around to take a chunk of it. He’s hired a few trusted people and gave them a charm to take a load off of his work pile. He’s always happy to help people and seeing the women before him put aside her pride to ask him for help, well, he appreciates it greatly.
“Of course! You know what to do though right? “
Her eyes light up with relief and she steps closer to whisper in his ear. It seems she too is aware of the walls listening.
