As for the plot, a bunch of objects get put in a competition to do random shit to win. Rather on brand given that carykh used to do a lot of algodoo races back in the day with similarly arbitrary competitions. My roommate tells me there's some time travel shenangans in this one due to the 58 concurrent shows that are constantly getting cancelled and revived over a decade.

How I feel about this character
Curator is an interesting case. She serves multiple roles, and she changes a bit between versions of herself. In 2011 mod she's just there to comment on them but, she's given the suicide ending. It's really telling that in that one, we are the one who have to make the jump. She mocks the choice and story while being stuck in it herself.
Then, in the 2013 version, she owns a museum. She isn't just stuck in the game - she's a guardian of versions. Seemingly, she observes them through everything. She has recordings of the Narrator to look through. Once again, from outer perspective, she seems so much more in control. But then - this time, she presents us with a choice. Either let them kill each other or get out. She acknowledges the Player but also, once again, shows how in the end, our choice is meaningless. Because no matter what, to her, they destroy each other. And we are the driving point of that.
However, the Bucket version brings something I wanted to discuss a long time ago but never did.
To me - The Bucket is a metaphor of both the Narrator and Stanley. Seeing how Curator had observed them before, it would only make sense she would observe the Skip Button, even from a safe distance. But she saw what the creators had made the Narrator go through. And we only keep letting it happen. Because as she taught us in her ending - we can always leave and not finish. As she is stuck, as anyone else, she took what was important to the Narrator and was mad at all the in just, showing just how important 'The Bucket' is to the story.
We disrespected it. We don't deserve it.

While I know people ship her with Mariella - I mostly write non romantic relations. For my aus, I have a version where they help each other in Jester AU but, I might talk about Mariella another time.

MariellaxCurator but also, a relationship between 432 and Curator is something I do in every single of my Aus. They're both observers of the story, both talk to the Player, both are mean indirectly to the Narrator. I often make them besties ajshsh
My unpopular opinion about this character
Idk if these are unpopular, I hadn't checked with the fandom in a while sjshsh but:
- Curator would NOT want a human form or physical one in general. It's not needed. She's above us. She's an observer, beauty and grace. She would find it insulting.
- deep down, she cares about the story. No one would make such a detailed museum without finding the importance of it.
- I feel she was one of the Proctols before.
- She's playful, and spiteful at the same time. She's not that different from the Narrator
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon
I don't... Exactly wish for change? Like - I like canon. I really do. While her interaction with the Narrator would have been interesting, I think she serves her role well enough.

peppino’s mudbray and donphan are pokemon he’s had forever. he raised the donphan from a phanpy. the mudbray is older than it looks and could evolve but refuses to. his trubbish loves him very very much and showed up not long after he opened is restaurant. he is consistently looking for ways to get rid of it and failing. none of his pokemon are kept in pokeballs they just kind of.. hang out. it’s probably obvious what they all represent so I won’t go too into it but his mudbray and donphan have similar personalities to him, short tempered stubborn and hardworking. they aren’t easily scared like he is, but his trubbish is very skittish in the face of danger.
noises loudred and rotom are assumed to exist to make trouble but they are Pokemon With Jobs. They help out w his TV network stuff, rotom possesses cameras etc and loudred manages audio balance and does sound effects. His minun on the other hand has a similar personality to him, the cuteness is just a facade for a high maintenance little cunt. Sometimes Noise can be kind of a dick to his pokemon, and there are times when him and his minun do not get along bc of their similar personalities.
noisette’s pokemon are sweet and silly like she is, and they also pack a punch. swirlix bc food pokemon for cafe girl. her plusle is in love with noise’s minun, of course. if I didn’t go with the minun/plusle pair for noise and noisette I’d give noisette a buneary and noise a morpeko
brick is an unusually large alolan rattata that gustavo befriended (he also does not tolerate being put in a pokeball). makuhita is a pleasant little guy like him that can also punch you apart. slowking has a chill and laidback vibe but in a competent, guy-who-knows way. ideal pokemon to smoke a blunt with.
deciding on fake peppino’s pokemon was difficult... mimikyu seems like an obvious choice but it would only have worked if peppino had a pikachu which i don’t think suits him. his ditto almost exclusively copies peppino’s pokemon when they’re around. milcery’s goop looks similar to fake pep’s which was my only basis for choosing it LOL. i considered lickitung and lickilicky but they seemed like too obvious choices... a froggy I think is better since he is froggy too. I also considered haunter so that he would have a scary pokemon, and I still might replace milcery with it, I had already finished drawing that pic before I thought of it lol
