it really sucks how much you like jax can be the sole factor on your feelings towards tadc or I guess the finale as a whole. he and caine really are the literal single driving forces for anything to happen in this show and no one else is ever allowed to act as messy as they can. left to the side just doing their own thing. and it's why their happy ending feels so hollow sometimes. Nothing but a series of montages. And it loops right back around to frustrating territory when people go through hoops to defend the two major 'antagonists' in this show by laying out the rest of the cast's 'faults' and problems and issues like dude I WISH the show actually acknowledged these things you use so passionately just to justify or defend what your fav did but that actually requires the series to give any kind of meaningful and nuanced attention to the rest of these characters that isn't just 'oh look at this they're so sad about something that's largely out of their control but it's ok they have friends they're fine :)'
