( ( Alaine; closed starter - to @desertlightning ) )
Trying to earn her keep and earnings towards the gang, Alaine did what she did best - being a thief. It wasn’t a hard task to get into the houses and it was actually easier than back at Saint Denis and at Ireland when she was there. The countryside had people wielding guns and on the watch, but the locks were more sturdy in the city than out in the country. Ireland was a bit of a task at times too, but that was a hard thing to compare it to. Those two were just different in her mind and was hard to compare.
While looting the bedside tables, she heard the door creak open. She got her gun out of its holster and put her finger on the trigger. While she was on one side of the wall by the door, she looked as best as she could out the doorway, but enough to where she wouldn’t be caught.
“Who’s there?” she spoke out to the other person. But when she got a better look at the person, her face softened. “Sean?” She spoke out quietly, but enough for him to hear in the quiet home. Coming out of her hiding spot, she stared at him.
“What are you doing here?” It was a stupid question to ask, but she did anyway.
She knew Sean enough to know his name a few qualities about him, but they weren’t friends or anything. More of acquaintances than anything.
