RAINBOW PANCAKES (this recipe makes about 12 medium sized pancakes) 🌈 240 ml plant-based milk 🌈 60 ml water 🌈 1+1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 🌈 250 g all purpose flour 🌈 15 g baking powder 🌈 3 tbsp unrefined cane sugar 🌈 2 small ripe bananas, mashed 🌈 1 tsp vanilla extract 🌈 a pinch of salt 🌈 @theorganiclab.eu organic colouring powders . In a small bowl mix milk and vinegar. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, until you prepare the other ingredients. In a large bowl mix flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Add in the mashed bananas, water, vanilla and the milk-vinegar mixture. Whisk just enough to incorporate all the ingredients. Divide the batter between 6 small bowls and add colouring powders to each of the bowls. ❤ For the red pancakes add beetroot powder (about 1+1/2 tsp), 🧡 for the orange ones add turmeric & beetroot powder (as much as you need from both to achieve the desired shade of orange), 💚 for the green pancakes add some of their super green blend (about 1 or 1+1/2 tsp). 💙 Add blue spirulina powder to the batter to make the blue pancakes (1 tsp or so). 💜 For the purple ones add some pink pitaya & blue spirulina powder to the batter (about 2 tsp pink pitaya and 1/2 or 1/3 tsp blue spirulina I'd say) and 💗 for the pink pancakes just add 2 tsp of pink pitaya powder to the last bowl of batter.
