So in The Batman (2004) they took their one black reoccurring character and turned him into a pale mud monster before shelving him and having him appear in far fewer episodes than before his body modification. They took their one reoccurring Asian female character and pretty much made her vanish from the show entirely. I'm not even counting the Kabuki Twins as "reoccurring characters" as we know literally nothing about them and they seem to have vanished from the show too (but their whole... Thing is pretty yikes too). And in their places we just get... A white guy and his daughter... I'ma say it. This is all pretty oof.
In my heart of hearts, I'm just going to pretend that Bruce Wayne in this iteration is Asian. The art is stylized in such a way that it's possible. Because otherwise this show is so much oof!
