alright, so here's how I'd think the 4 lab cats would feel about being outside the lab
Draven - Would really like being outside, #1 outdoor lover
He spends the most time outside of the lab, often talking to animals and playing about in fields and making flower crowns
LOVES being outside when its sunny. Absolutely adores spring and summer
He'll sometimes sneak out at night, too, just to hear the owls hooting or to gaze at the stars.
Winter, he won't go out as often, but when he does, he'll make sure to bundle up and bring warm water for his critter friends :]
Chan Hung - Enjoys being outside, second place for going out the most
Also spends a lot of time outside of the lab, mainly to meditate or to get away from the BS chaos that happens (99% it's Franklin's shenanigans)
Prefers overcast weather, but he doesn't mind the sun a whole lot
Chan Hung would occasionally take walks or hikes to clear his mind and feel at peace. Draven offers to join him at times, but Chan insists he do so alone so that he doesn't get distracted
Does not go out in the rain. At all.
Alice - Doesn't go outside much, but likes being out in stormy weather
Doesn't leave the lab a whole lot since I hc her third eye to be pretty sensitive to bright lights
Loves stormy or cloudy days since her eye doesn't suffer from it as badly, she loves fall and winter for having more stormier weather
Her and Draven play about in the fields and forest whenever they go outside together (younger sister and older brother dynamic imo)
She probably caught a cold once or twice in the winter, I also hc that she'd have a weaker immune system since her psychic powers take some energy from her body
Franklin - He fuckin' hates it!
HATES leaving the lab. At all. Mainly due to the bright sunlight. If it's not the sun, then it's probably socializing amongst other cats. If it's not socializing, then it's probably because Guillotina's back
But he does like astrology, though. He studies the sky with a telescope he found in the lab. Draven keeps asking if he'd go outside to watch the stars with him instead, but Franklin would rather use the telescope from inside the lab
Another hc, but as a kitten/before he grew up, he actually liked to go outside from time to time and study little bugs in the grass
Did I mention that he also hates the sound of thunder? For acting as big and mighty as he does, this lil bastard will freak out at thunder, he'll scream loud as fuuuuck and hide under a table (or whatever's nearby)

okay so for context, like now, I was REALLY big into fnaf, like I would watch it constantly when my mom wasn't looking, considering the fact that the lore was something my mom didn't want me looking at. I'd manage to find ways to sneak FNAF into my grubby mitts, and it lead to my stuff getting taken up from me a few times, but other than that, I grew up practically glued to the franchise.
I was about 10 at the time, maybe a bit younger, around when FNAF was in its prime years. From fanart of characters as anime boys and girls, to fangames that were absolute cinema at the time, and the boom in fan songs. And my favorite part? Fnaf 4. Specifically, Nightmare Bonnie.
it was in an RPG sort of style, similar to Deltarune, Undertale, or Ao Oni. It was all 2D pixels and whatnot. I was in the FNAF 4 bedroom, although some details were different. It was a bit more purple rather than blue, some of the plushies were replaced with my own (mainly a jibanyan plushie i had owned since I was 7, i still have that rapscallion to this day), and some patterns on the decor being changed.
I remember that I wasn't really trying to defend from the nightmares, no. If anything, I was merely hiding from them because I was scared, but they were friendly. I would lean in for the door, listen to the breathing, and then close the door. Rinse and repeat for a while, up until 3 AM.
And then my ass got caught. By Nightmare Bonnie. Long story short, I fumbled bad by not checking the left door for a long while, and he snuck in. I freaked out, I started shaking and panicked, but then... He holds me. In his big ass hands, too. I felt really nice, and we both talk for a while, and then... The kiss.
Oh, the kiss. I remember there being a whole 2D, 8-bit animated cutscene where I just legit pressed my mouth against his for a solid 5 seconds. I could be remembering wrong and maybe it was Nightmare Bonnie that initiated the kiss, but from my memory, it was me that started it. I pulled away, blushing and looking at him with a goofy ass grin on my face. And then I woke up a lil sad that it was just a dream :(
Do I still find Nightmare Bonnie kinda charming? Yeah! Did this dream make me less scared of FNAF 4 as a game? no :(
Bum-Bo (The Man) VS Bum-Bo (The Idea), AKA: A Character Analysis on Isaac's Father
Yeah, that's right, another dookie character analysis. Buckle in if you dare! If you wanna read my Character Analysis on Magdalene/Isaac's Mom, then there's that for ya, too.
WARNING! This character analysis contains the following: alcoholism, gambling addiction, mentions of religion, psychosis, and miscarriages, and spoilers for both TBOI and TLOB. Reader discretion IS advised!
Isaac's father, who I'll dub 'Abraham' for the sake of simplicity, is a rather mysterious figure amidst our playthrough of TBOI. All we know of him was that he had left after a particularly heated argument with Magdalene, and he had felt guilty for having to leave Isaac behind. But what could have caused such a fight to break out? What's the importance of The Legend of Bum-Bo to his character? Well, let's dive into his role as the man rather than the idea, first, and see his importance in The Binding of Isaac.
We'll get the most known thing out of the way, the money issue. Particularly, Abraham's gambling addiction, or what we can assume is a gambling addiction. Throughout TBOI, we see different things associated with luck and gambling: slot machines, dice, even the character of Cain (who makes a reference as Bum-Bo the nimble) is heavily focused on luck, RNG, and gambling as a mechanic. Amidst this particular argument (0:00 - 0:10) between Abraham and Magdalene, they are getting into a fight over Abraham having spent their savings. With the depictions of gambling all throughout the game, we can discern that this was most likely to fuel his assumed addiction to gambling.
Speaking of addictions, Abraham was also an alcoholic. This is more so canon rather than speculation, as heard in this dialogue (0:11 - 0:32), where Magdalene points out that Abraham is drunk again. This is not a first-time or rare occurrence, if anything, it seems to be far more common place within the Moriah household than we're first lead to think. This ties in with one of the endings, ending 20 or the Delirium Ending for TBOI: Repentance, where we hear a bit of Isaac's parents fighting, not to mention how it coincides with ending 21 or the Final Ending, where the narration includes Isaac seeing his parents get into an argument.
But why would he be driven to drink in the first place? One of my AO3 commenters actually brought up a good theory about why either parent had been brought to how they acted in the first place. Miscarriage. If we look at the items in TBOI, we get two items with the same description, Brother Bobby and Sister Maggy, both of which have the quote "Friends til' The End" when picked up. This possible miscarriage could've led Magdalene into a 180 into religious devotion, and Abraham into his addictions. This would also give a reason as to why Magdalene got so comfortable with killing her own son: so that he could be reunited with his unborn siblings in Heaven, since it could've been the worst thing to happen to him in that point of life.
Abraham is seen rather differently in both the eyes of Isaac and Magdalene. Where as Magdalene sees him as cold and careless, Isaac saw him as a hero of sorts who helped him with his own issues with pretend and make-believe. Let's discuss his relationship with Magdalene a bit further.
Within the 5th ending of The Legend of Bum-Bo (2:02 - 3:33), the cutscene is interrupted with Magdalene coming into Isaac's room and noting how she thought she got rid of the toys. The fact that she expresses such disdain towards the toys gives us a hint to infer that Abraham most likely made the toys himself. It's even stated by Magdalene in the transcript that Abraham was gone, that he had never loved them. Yet, the case seems different when we turn back to TBOI... Look at the ascension dialogue once more (0:59 - 1:28). Magdalene is begging for him to stay, and Abraham insists that he's doing more harm than good, even apologizing to Isaac. He doesn't want to leave, yet he feels that he has no other option.
Whilst on the topic, how does Isaac see his dad? He sees his father as a key to escaping his own issues, as Abraham had shown Isaac how to cope in an imaginary setting of make-believe and fantasy. If we take a look at the True Ending of TLOB, we see the ending fade out to an image of Isaac looking at the trap door he goes into within TBOI. Even Bum-Bo's voice slowly melts into Abraham's own voice. And by the end of it, in full Abraham voice, we hear this: "There is no end to your imagination, no limit to what you can create. When things get difficult, you can go there. When you feel weak, you can escape into this world we created and become powerful. Always remember this, Isaac. Your imagination knows no bounds, and I'll always be here waiting for you in our next adventure together."
There are also some items in TBOI that link us to how Isaac saw his dad. For example, Dad's Key. First, you don't expect much from it! Sure, it's an activated item, but let's take a look at what it does. Once activated, Dad's Key unlocks all doors in a current room within most circumstances. Even the item quote, "Opens All Doors" gives us depth into how Isaac sees his own father. Isaac saw his dad as a key to escape from his struggles, his Mother's consistent religious psychosis and his own Father's issues alongside that. Plus, not to mention the other major item, Dad's Note. This causes the Ascension to happen, where it allows Isaac goes into the Home floors to fight Dogma, along with finding some tainted characters.
Now, the concept. Within the entirety of The Legend of Bum-Bo, and within the intro, we play as, well, Bum-bo! He lives in a box behind a house on a hill. He's got trash and his favorite coin. Notice the house on the hill? Where else have we heard it? That's right, TBOI! It's a known fact that throughout the Edmund-verse (as I call it), if there's a house on a hill, it's most likely related to TBOI in some way, shape, or form. With what we know of the connections between TBOI and TLOB, along with the strings connecting Bum-Bo and Abraham, we can infer that this is a metaphor for Abraham becoming homeless.
Even within an alternate intro, we can hear Abraham narrating the story, interrupted by Isaac telling him to do the voice he normally does for the character. There's even an item in the TBOI known as Dad's Lost Coin. This also goes inside with the plot of Bum-Bo losing his own coin. Even the item quote, "I Remember This" plays into how Isaac remembered the stories that him and his dad would make up and play out, the times before the divorce and before Magdalene snapped and decided to try and kill Isaac.
In conclusion? Bum-Bo is merely a dramaticized, sadder depiction of Isaac's own father. An idea of a man who was once kind, but was driven to a breaking point from grief and marital strain. With each playthrough of TLOB or TBOI, you might find some more information on this broken family. But, like most theory fuel, not all that glitters is gold. Or in this case, coin.

ANYWAY, TIME TO INFODUMP ABT THIS LIL UHH AU I MADE:
So in Mewgenics, around act 3, my OC's dad comes into play to kidnap Beanies from Steven bc he's been hearing about how smart he is, and wants to prove to him that he can be a good partner in crime, so he'd try to win Beanies over so that he can rule the world with him by his side (arthur's taking it over for the imps ofc, he tried to do that with Hell back when he was still trying to teach Dell his ways before Cassandra Sweet, Dell's mom, divorced him)
After kidnapping Beanies, Arthur tries to do many things to prove that he's in doc's favor, including reviving one Isaac O'Moriah. After some stern bickering between Beanies and Arthur (and a not-so-convincing talk by Arther to try to get Isaac to kill his revived mother), Isaac runs off and away from the lab, ending up at the doorstep of Dell, who kater adopts him as their younger brother.
After a while, Arthur decides to steal Beanies' soul via a contract, allowing him to be kept in his mitts so long as the contract stays in tact with no tears or burns, nor loopholes found. With the power of science and hellish magic, an event breaks out in Boon County: The Infernal.
Freddy and The Faz-Bunch: LOST MEDIA (FaTFB:LM) AU Headcanons: The Toys (+ Balloon Boy, JJ & Puppet, general hcs)
Meowdy, y'all! Dell again, this time coming from my backyard, and with more headcanons about some more characters that pop into my AU. This time, I'll be talking about the toy animatronics, along with BB, JJ, and Puppet. THE TOYS + BB, JJ, AND MARI
-Most of them are around in their 20's (with T. Bonnie being 25, T. Chica being 24, and T. Freddy being 23)
-Only exceptions from the 20's rule are Mangle (41), JJ and BB (both are 10 respectively), and Marionette/Puppet (30)
-Mari is often stuck as the babysitter for BB and JJ, but Mari doesn't really mind! If anything, Mari likes the little scamps, seeing the two as her own adopted kids
-Not really a HC, but I feel like this would fit here! Initially, I was planning on giving Mangle an old mage/wizard sort of look to her to counter with Foxy's pirate theme (totally not referencing wizard 101 and pirate 101 i dunno what ur talking about heehoo). But I went with a more old-money/retired hollywood starlet vibe halfway through drawing her
-You would think that T. Freddy would be in charge, but it's actually moreso he just poses as the leader/is the mascot. The one who's actually leading the group is T. Bonnie, on account of how competitive (and how much of an attention hoor) he is... and how he is kind of a control freak.
-Each of the toy four (T.B, T.C, T.F, and Mangs) is their own character! Yep, they aren't really related to the main four/OGs, but rather are more like doppleganger/imposter characters. (Although there are some other characters within the series that are related to the main four, but I won't touch them for a while. :) heehee)
TOY BONNIE / BUNNISON HARE
-Basically a swaggering peacock in bunny form. He often stands on the tips of his toes to appear taller, forces his voice to sound deeper (hard to do on account that it's often more high-pitched), walks around with his shoulders squared... Basically, he tries to make himself look all big and tough, and is very showy.
-Probably likes bands like Blondie and The Runaways, maybe a bit of Avril Lavigne and Brittany Spears... But he keeps that part of his music taste secret.
-Oh, he was BULLIED in his younger years. Everyone in his elementary and middle school kept making fun of him for looking 'girly', and he took that so deeply to heart.
-Cannot drive for the life of him.. He is a reckless driver. If he offers to drive, shoot down that idea INSTANTLY. He has scuffed and totaled more cars than you would think.
-Gets angry really quickly, and will throw a tantrum if things are not going like how he had envisioned them in his head. This ties in with him being a sore loser, too.
-Didn't have a lot of friends growing up, either because they were bullying him, or he was the one doing the bullying. His only friends really are T.F (met him in highschool), and T.C (met her in college)
-Acts kind of like an 80's movie jock. Except unlike most jerk jocks, he seems to be somewhat caring inside. He doesn't show it a whole lot even in private, but he'll check up on T.F and T.C whenever he can and ask if they are on good terms, and even offer to babysit JJ and BB for Mari on the rare, blue-moon occasion.
-(^^^) The reason why he's so nice in private and with only those he's close to is because his jerk act is a cover up!! he's afraid of looking weak in front of others, so he acts like a dick as compensation!!
-secretly bi, but acts like he's straight
TOY FREDDY / FERDINAND FUZZBIRN
-One of the NICEST men you'd meet. And the fluffiest out of all the toys. So furry and soft... Why, you could take a nap on top of him, and wake up fully rested!
-Became friends with Toy Bonnie when he saw that he didn't have a whole lot of other people to be around. He felt bad, and wanted to be there for him since he knew what being alone was like as well.
-T.F was sheltered a fair amount as a kid. Not as much as OG bonnie was sheltered, but his parents were a bit nosy when it came to raising him. For the most part, he wasn't allowed past 8 PM until he was at least 16, and he had a strict bedtime at around 9 PM each night up until he was 18. That's just a sample of how his parents were.
-He probably had an emo phase in middle or highschool... Just saying that now
-Probably knows how to play a random funky intrument, like a melodica or theremin
-OH, HE IS STILL A GAMER IN THIS AU!! For the most part, T.F likes games that lean more towards RPGs that take place in fantasy settings. This bad boy can log SO many hours into Old School Runescape
-Gamer. Rage. He has probably cussed out someone's entire bloodline for beating him in a duel on OSRS, and probably felt bad afterwards.
-Kind of a yes man to T.B. He would advise for T.B to calm down if he got angry, only for T.B to snap back, and he would apologize. If T.B has an idea, T. Freddy just rolls with it.
-With T.F's parents saying that they parented him the way they did was because 'it was for his own good', he doesn't really question authority a lot. So when TB said that he'd be the leader and that TF could be the mascot, Freddy didn't question it too much.
-He's questioning his sexuality for the most part. He could be a panromantic ace fella, which seems most likely for him.
TOY CHICA / CECILIA AVIA
-Scene phase. Probably became friends with Toy Freddy when he was in his emo phase and they were in each other's MySpace Top 10 Friends.
-When she first met T.B in college, she thought he was annoying and a general jerk. But when T.F managed to get T.B to act a smidge bit nicer to her, Cecilia managed to lighten up a bit and hang around T.B whenever T.F was around him.
-TROUBLE. MAKER. At least in her teen years, she was. She'd snuck out to parties, skip classes, backtalk her parents... She even had to wear an ankle monitor one of the times she got suspended because of a super bad fight she got into.
-(^^^) By the time senior year rolled about in her teen years, she started to change for the better, since T.F had shown a lot of concern when he heard that she couldn't leave the house.
-Actually nice once you get to know her! Sure, she seems like she could hurt you with words, but that's only if you deserve it. She gets along well with most people, and even babysits BB and JJ when Mari can't (that is if T.B refuses to babysit them ofc, and even if T.B does accept, she helps him out)
-Similar taste to what T.B secretly likes, but throw in a few boybands and k-pop artists in there, too. (they both went to a Brittney concert in college)
-Shockingly high alcohol tolerance. Like, shockingly high. You would be shocked to see how many vodka shots this bird could down.
-OKAY. For the beak thing... She can do in the cartoon, just as her animatronic counterpart can do it. It's more taken as a cartoonish ability though, rather than something spooky. She often takes her beak off before a big fight (kinda like how someone would take out their earrings)
-Oh, if this AU took place in the modern day, she woulda LOVED katseye <3
-Lesbian, straight up.
MANGLE / Mannon Pierce
-She used to be a really big movie star! She had fame, fortune, and all of it! But due to an accident that happened on her commute to a red carpet event involving her limo, a truck full of metal parts, and a truck full of radioactive goop, let's just say... She ended up quitting her job.
-(^^^) She didn't quit outright or get fired. Rather, she ended up faking her death. She saw how she looked in a puddle on the road, freaked out, and faked her death because she hated how she looked.
-After a while, she grew used to her new look. Took her a few years, but she re-entered public... Not as Mannon, but as 'Mangle', the new addition to the Toys! (aka; the mom friend of the group)
-How she ended up becoming a mother figure to a bunch of younger folks was through jobs. Looking for a job after her accident, Mangle managed to pick up a job as a nanny/babysitter for Mari, but with the arrival of the other toys, they got used to Mangle's company, and she stuck around permanently
-Often calls people 'sweetheart' or 'darling', an old habit of hers that refuses to die out.
-Oh, she adores ABBA. Aside from music from the 50's and 60's, she'll often be listening to some ABBA music on a radio she found/bought
-At first, she hated her robotically conjoined head, but she kind of grew fond of it after a year or so. It's named Arnie Malcom (get it? kinda sounds like Amalgam, like amalgamation? no? alright), and it's a lot more sarcastic, outward, and a bit more sadistic than Mangle is.
-Bisexual. Either that or Bi with a fem-leaning preference. She had a husband before her accident... Emphasis on HAD.
BB + JJ / Benny Hollison and Jessica Hollison
-They're both twin siblings! Their birthday is on January 12th, and they were both born on the same time! (Though, JJ was born one minute later... But that lead to a lot of arguments between the two)
-JJ likes collecting bugs! She sees them as little friends and has a few different terrariums that Mari got her! BB on the other hand... Well, he's terrified of them. It's a long story, but when BB was younger, he had a bad encounter with a ball hitting a bee's nest.
-BB likes playing video games, as well! JJ occasionally plays, but she's more of an outdoor girlie.
-BB and JJ both like gummy worms! Although JJ prefers sour gummy worms rather than plain gummy worms.
-Neither of the twins know who their parents are! Both of them were abandoned as babies at the doorstep of Mari, with both birth certificates and a note saying to take good care of them. But the two do wish to see their parents one day...
-The reason why BB likes stealing batteries so much is because they're shiny. BB has a huge collection of shiny items, from bottlecaps, to batteries, tokens, and maybe a few shiny things he 'borrowed'.
-BB knows how to skateboard. JJ is still learning how to skateboard with the help of both BB and Mari
-They both call Mari 'Auntie Mari', since they still believe their actual parents are out there somewhere. Although an accidental 'mom' slips from the twins every once in a while.
Puppet (Or Marionette) / Maria (or Mark) Nellete
-AroAce. Also genderqueer!
-Maria often presents a fem, but can appear as masc as well if he wants. If that's the case, then Maria can change his voice to sound more masculine (and goes by 'mark')
-Maria can change her voice in many, MANY ways. Aside from the obvious genderbending of her voice to go from fem to masc, he can also change his voice to sound like anyone or anything. From other characters in the show, to even sound effects!
-Can, and will, beat you in a staring contest.
-Probably has a collection of classic horror novels in their house. They seem to be big on literature in my eyes, at least in this AU.
-(^^^) ALWAYS tells bedtime stories to BB and JJ right before tucking them into bed. Often stories that Maria made up herself, but will read one from a book if requested from either one of the twins
-Has probably had to smack some sense into T.B at some point in their life. That bunny is rather headstrong.
-Refuses to say any bad words around BB and JJ. The obvious ones, but they will never say 'heck', 'darn', or anything along those lines. In general, Mari just isn't too fond of swearing, especially around the young ones
-OOH, ANOTHER ORPHAN. Mari, as a young kid (7 or 8, just a year younger than Foxy) had lost her parents in a fire. Mari lived in an orphanage, and had the support of a few friends, along with some of the orphanage workers. And due to how nice they were, it was Mari's dream to work in childcare, to provide a home or family for those unfortunate to not have one

random post again, but here's my top 5 most rewatched movies from memory
Beetlejuice - 11 times, possibly the movie I can clearly recall rewatching the most. Hell, the quote 'go ahead! make my millenia!' is my highschool yearbook quote
The Poughkeepsie Tapes - 9 times. I mostly put it on for background noise, but when I do actively watch it, it's really good. Very convincing mockumentary for first-time watchers. It's very well-made, and I absolutely love that
Misery (1990)- 7 times. A bit fuzzier on how many times exactly I've seen it, but really good. I really like Annie Wilkes' character, she's really interesting psychologically speaking
Electric Dreams - 4 times. Not a horror movie like the others, but probably the only RomCom i see myself actually enjoying somewhat
The Spongebob Movie (2004) - 3 times. My favorite animated movie ever since I was like, 8. I will forever be a Spongebob kid. Need to rewatch this any chance I get
Honorable mention: K-Pop Demon Hunters - 3 or 4 times. Honestly, Bobby's my favorite character, and the music's pretty damn good. This movie gave me a soft spot for K-Pop and got me into it

So far this October has been a roller coaster for me. I took my Wally plush to many places, the aquarium of the pacific the staff recognized him and let him sit at the moon jellyfish.
Comic Con at LA I was dressed up as Julie Joyful since I made the costume last year it was fun making that dress and glad people recognized her too! :D (Too shy to show my face tbh-)
