Day 5: Proposal ♡ Weddings
Is this fluff??? Yep, I think so!
“You know what they say, ‘What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas’.” Saeyoung laughed and grabbed MC’s hand. “You two enjoy yourselves, we’re going to go find one of those chapels and get married! Let’s go babe!” he ran off with MC propelled behind him, she looked very much as determined as Saeyoung.
“Why am I not surprised?” Saeran said, shaking his head. They had already checked into the hotel and come down to the Casino. Gambling didn’t hold any appeal to him but Yoosung’s amethyst eyes glittered. He held a cup full of coins, his head swiveling from left to right.
“What should we do first? I don’t know how to play cards but look at all these slots!” he was rooted to the spot, unable to make a decision.
“Uh, I think I’m just gonna’ find something to eat, you enjoy yourself.” Saeran searched the ceiling for the signs that would direct him to the buffet. Yoosung grabbed his sleeve.
“NO! You can’t leave me alone! I need you.” He pleaded.
“I doubt that, I think you can lose all your money on your own.”
“Saeran please! I need you to make sure that doesn’t happen! This is all I intend to lose, once this is gone, I’m done. Except…I’m afraid it won’t be and I’ll go get more and keep going. I neeeeeeddd you!”
Saeran sighed, how could he say no? Yoosung looked so fucking cute.
“Fine, just, pick something already.” Yoosung let go of his arm and jumped up and down excitedly. He turned and made his way through the hazy smoke-filled room and chose a machine at random.
“This looks promising, the Jackpot is $10,000! How many coins would that be?” Yoosung asked as he sat on the red stool.
“Too many, that’s ridiculous.” Saeran watched as people threw their money away all around him and settled against the machine wondering how long it would take Yoosung to waste his own.
“Would you like a drink?” the waitress stood in front of Yoosung.
“Yes! Uh, I’ll have a jack and coke straight up.” He ordered. Saeran’s eyebrow shot up, jack and coke?
“And for you sir?” her green eyes bored into him, there was a smile on her face but it certainly didn’t reach her eyes. She was still unsure of whether they were good tippers or not but was hedging her bets.
“Order something Searan, it’s free anyway.” Yoosung slid a coin into the machine and pulled the lever, eyes scanning the spinning images.
“Sure, free, so they can keep you drunk and wasting your money.” Searan rolled his eyes.
“Come off it! Loosen up and have some fun!”
“OK OK. I’ll have a Budweiser in the bottle please.”
“Of course sir, I’ll be right back.”
After several hours, way more than Saeran would have believed, Yoosung was down to his last coin. He kissed it and slid it into the slot machine. “Goobye swee c…” he blinked and pulled the lever as best he could. Saeran shook his head, glad they could finally leave. He didn’t know how many beers he’d had, or how many drinks Yoosung had gone through, he seemed to have wanted to try one of everything they had to offer, but he knew they were both pretty fucking hammered.
“Thas it. Fun’s over, time to go go go!” Saeran laughed and took the pouting Yoosung down the aisle between the flashing lights of the slot machines.
“Bu I was sooo close…jus…maybe…one…”
“NO! No more. Member you said..”
“I know I know…whaa now?”
Saeran shrugged and stopped short at the answer. Indeed, what now?
“Oh! I know, les find Saeyo…Saeyooo…uh, you bwother and MC. Loo for the chapel, righ?”
“Yeah, uh…hey, you, where the closest chapel?” Saeran accosted one of the waitresses, the woman, being practiced in dealing with drunk people, simply pointed them in the right direction. The chapel in the casino.
“Less go!” Saeran grabbed Yoosung’s hand and they made their way to the chapel, needing to stop and ask for more directions the closer they got, the casino was a maze. They finally made it.
“Here here here!” Yoosung jumped up and down and ran into the brightly lit chapel. The theme was Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel. “Soooo cuuuttteeee!” Yoosung examined all of the merchandise on display taking one of the big Hello Kitty bows and putting it on his head. There was a pale blue suit jacket that he pulled off the rack and forced Saeran into.
“What the fuck Yoosung!” Saeran shouted, but ended up giggling and wrapping himself in the soft material.
“Ah, what do we have here?” A tall blonde man with an extravagant mustache came from behind a counter and took both men into his arms. “Young love? Looking to make it permanent, yes?” Yoosung and Saeran looked at each other and burst out laughing.
“Loo…looking for…uh…wedding?” Saeran meant to ask about his brother, but for the life of him, he couldn’t get his tongue to cooperate.
“Yes yes, you are in the right place, come this way. May I suggest some wedding bands?”
“Na important…” Saeran answered.
“I see, well then, perhaps this will do.” The man stopped just before a curtained doorway and scooped up two black plain looking rings that appeared to be adjustable. “Come come.” He shooed them through the curtains. There were three rows of pews on either side of a very short isle. The room was pink and filled to the brim with fresh and fake colorful flowers. At the altar there were life sized cut outs of Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel. On the right there was a keyboard with a woman sitting on the stool in front of it. She had been reading a magazine when they walked in. Now she stood and beamed at them.
“What’s this? New customers?” she smiled and twirled in her pink polka dot dress, the skirt flaring around her.
“Ohhh, sooo pretty!” Yoosung twirled himself, looking at the blinking lights on the ceiling, not even noticing when the woman pressed a bouquet into his hands. When he did notice, he was standing at the foot of the altar and was mesmerized by the colorful collection in his hands. He shoved his nose into the petals and inhaled. The sweet scent was intoxicating, or was it the alcohol?
Saeran kept pushing Yoosung’s hair behind his ear, for some reason it was bothering him, where the fuck were his hairclips? His thoughts were interrupted by the man standing in front of him. Who was he again?
“Welcome loved ones. We are gathered here today to join…” the man looked at Yoosung expectantly, but the blonde was nose deep in the flowers, “…ehem…”
“Huh?” Yoosung blinked at him in confusion.
“Your name son, what is it?” the man was extremely patient, this wasn’t the first time two drunk people had gotten married in his chapel. The woman on the keyboard stifled a giggle.
“Yoosung…and you?” Yoosung answered and asked with a wistful smile.
“Anyway…to join Yoosung and…” while he hoped, he didn’t expect the other man to answer him either. Saeran was focused on breaking off a rose from Yoosung’s bouquet, once he had the head, he grinned and stuffed it into the button hole of the suit jacket.
“Look Yoosung!” he grinned. Yoosung looked and they both laughed.
The man rolled his eyes and tried again. “Your name son?” he pointedly asked.
“Me? Oh, Saeran.” Saeran answered while fiddling with his flower.
The man took a long deep breath and started once more. “We are gathered here today to join Yoosung and Saeran in holy matrimony.”
At that both men clung to each other in shared amusement and laughter.
“Do you Yoosung, take Saeran to be your lawfully wedded husband, for now and forever?”
“OK.” Yoosung giggled, thinking how funny this all was.
Saeran’s eyes widened with humour.
“And do you Saeran, take Yoosung to be your lawfully wedded husband, for now and forever?”
The man handed one of the rings to Yoosung, who took it curiously.
“Place it on his finger.” The man encouraged. Yoosung did just that while Saeran held his bouquet.
“Now what?” he asked, looking around the chapel. Hadn’t they come in here looking for Saeryoung and MC? He didn’t see them.
“Now you.” The man handed Saeran a ring and he took Yoosung’s hand and looked soulfully in his eyes as he slid the ring into place but couldn’t keep up the seriousness and broke into peals of laughter.
“By the authority vested in me by the state of Nevada, I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may now kiss the groom.”
“Pfft!” Yoosung spat but Saeran pulled him in and lay one on him fast and sloppy.
“Hello husband.” Saeran screeched when he pulled away.
“Ah…hah…hah…” Yoosung’s head was spinning, Saeran kissed him! And he wanted him to do it again. Wait…no…he had to throw up!
