FUCK YES
don't look at the timestamp on this one, okay? sshhh.
Died Pretty - Out of the Unknown (1984)
Australian psych rockers DIed Pretty, more influenced by the Doors and VU, unlike most Aussie groups of the time. The combo of Frank Brunetti’s organ and Brett Myers on slide guitar really hits the spot.
Died Pretty - Doused (HQ Audio)
“...over-familiarity with the tracks here may have lessened its impact in my house, but really that’s my problem...there will not be too many better records released this year.”

Record Collection
So I decided to put together a list of all my records. Mainly because I have WAY more than I thought or that I ever expected to have. I started collecting in 2012 and back then I didn’t even know where to buy them, and now I know of like 10 places and I go to at least 1 shop whenever I go out or I end up stumbling on them at some random market. I always buy second hand, I only have a few 'new’ pressings because they are stupidly expensive and I honestly haven’t bought a recent pressing in years. (I could make exceptions for this on new releases like Blackstar, but I don’t even own that on vinyl yet because its easy to find and I’m not in a hurry to get it. I prefer stumbling on an older album that’s second hand).
Also back then records hadn’t really resurfaced in popularity yet and you wouldn’t really find them in ordinary music or electronics stores and vinyl pressings of modern groups weren’t as popular or easy to find as they are now. So my collection has just really piled up over the years. I don’t really care so much about rarity or special edition things or anything. I just collect them for the joy of listening to them and simply having them.
Anyway, my list is under the cut.
