Cosmere Characters as People You Might See on the Bus

If you saw Cosmere characters on the bus, I think this is what the experience might be like.

Steris: The person who has her bus pass or exact change ready to go, and then spends the rest of the trip side-eyeing people who wait until they get to the driver before digging around in their bags.

Moash: Is polite to the bus driver and 100% ready to throw down with anyone who tries to be rude to them.

Vasher: The scruffy guy in the back of the bus who is potentially homeless and probably drunk.

Jasnah: Leaves her purse on the seat next to her so long as their are open seats anywhere else on the bus.

Tress: Slides as far sideways she can to leave as much room as possible for whoever might sit next next to her.

Adolin: Cheerfully man-spreads, it's true, but will also be the first to offer his seat to the elderly.

Kaladin: Guy who always stands even when there are open seats available. You've privately dubbed him "handsome standing bus guy."

Elhokar: Person who seems nervous to be on a public bus and is fuguratively clutching his pearls at anyone who seems unwell or (gasp!) poor.

Wayne: Has made 19 new best friends by chatting to whoever sits next to him.

Lopen: Has made 17 new best friends and 2 forever enemies by chatting to whoever sits next to him.

Dilaf: The person who won't stop talking loudly about religion. People are pretending not to see or hear him.

Vin: The person who brings her much-too-large dog onto the bus with her.

Shallan: A magnet for men who want to find a magic pixie dream girl, since she is wearing headphones and sketching. This dream lasts until they see what Shallan is drawing.

Nikaro: The person who stares morosely out the window for the whole ride. Works best when it's raining.

Elend: What is a bus trip other than time to read?

Navani: What is a bus trip other than time to work on research notes?

Lightsong: What is a bus trip other than time to nap? Yes, he misses his stop a lot.

Hoid: The bus driver.

7 - seethe I didn’t feel like drawing spores, so instead I wondered which cosmere character was the most seething. And decided to go with Dilaf. Sceptical Hrathren on the side.

I've finished reading Elantris recently, however before even starting it I've been warned that since it is Sanderson's first book, it won't be as good as others. Now I'm finished, and I literaly cannot see why people judge this book, or claim it is bad.

Elantris was amazing.

Worldbuilding: Perfectly messed up, as every kingdom should be. I really liked how weird the political system was (money=rank), and how a very religious kingdom tries to forcibly convert others, and if that fails, they just label everyone a heretic and kill them. (Kinda like how it actually happens irl)

Magic: Strange, but if we could accept ppl eating metal for superpowers, then I guess we can accept map-rune thingies, that can turn you into a demigod, or a very strange zombie. Plus the fact that other kingdoms has their own Aons gives ample amount of content for the future sequels.

Characters: Sarene my beloved. She earned her rightfull place on my Fav Cosmere Ladies (Right after Vin and Sterris). Hrathen was something else, perfect anti-villain, who had a very well written redemption. Raoden reminded me a lot of Elend, and it is a good thing. And Dilaf is Moash2 (or Moash is Dilaf2, since he's worse)

Story: Strangelly well written. The pacing was alright to me as it is a standalone novel. The story bits build up well, the final Sanderlanche was great. I loved it, some parts I screamed, some parts I was super anxious.

Issues: It is a shame that Sanderson cut Eton from the story. I could see why, but the Mad Prince could've been a great part of the story. Iadon's secret just came out of nowhere, just like Ahan's betrayal, as they lacked some foreshadowing. Also Raoden pretending to be a black man, purposelly playing a stereotype was weird as hell.

Overall: 8/10, It was amazing.

The thing is that Hrathen’s love language is power struggle, so to me it makes perfect sense that he’s in love with both Sarene and Dilaf.
