you first met dimos when he was broken down, waiting by his liege's body, as he had the last decades

he was a shell of his former self, inside and outside, and he didn't want you to even get close to him and let you help him

but you were persistent, continuing to visit him almost daily, always offering your help. until one day, he eventually accepted it!

so you began to slowly repair his body, nursing him back to health by replacing his parts and repairing all you could do

one part per day and never for too long, as dimos didn't want to let you get too close to him

but what made dimos finally open up to you was when you build a small tombstone out of scrap metal for rion

dimos could see you were a good person and slowly, he allowed himself to move on

for the first time in decades, dimos left his liege's dying place and started a new life with you. but he never forgot about rion, visiting his grave often, often with you by his side

dimos is only vulnerable with you, but after all that time you two spent together, he knows that he can trust you

you showed great respect for his liege and while you were persistent on helping him, you never forced yourself onto him

dimos learned to actually enjoy it when you tinker with him. you're the only person he'd allow to touch him!

still, he doesn't want you to just replace parts of him for the sake of it. he wants to keep all the pieces he still has of himself, including the ones you gave to him when you first met

knowing that pieces of himself belonged to you once makes dimos feel special…

Nier Reincarnation: Festive Dimos (fanmade)

Nier Reincarnation is closing soon. A game that brought me so much joy, and misery, and fantastic music.  Not every character will get to have all the different kinds of skins, my favorite character, Dimos the clockwork soldier, won't have a new anniversary costume. I cannot let that happen.  Now he and his dear prince will be clowning together.
