These are the children of my family in Gaza. Barefoot, living in tents, but still finding the strength to laugh. Even when the world fails them, they still try to survive with joy.

I see them every day. I know their names. They are not numbers.

The Reality: 19 lives, including orphans, all hungry, and none with a safe place to sleep. Help us survive tomorrow

Direct Relief and Americares has efforts focused in Florida and All Hands and Hearts has teams in North Carolina. Samaritans Purse has efforts in quite a few places, focused in Florida and North Carolina, but also has efforts in Georgia and Tennessee.

If you have any other suggestions for disaster relief efforts that have Hurrican Helene recovery efforts, please let me know and I'll add them to the list. I just did a quick online search for these and they all seem legit.
