i just wanted some wood prothesis for my fantasy sims (... Simeon. i wanted it for Simeon) but i didn't have anything like that in my game so!! i remembered i have free will and just recolored one of my favourite prothesis <#
the original is by @qwertysims and thanks to their incredibly generous TOU you don't need the originals for these ones to work (but i still 100% recommend them + the socks they recategorised as tights cause i love them) (those are the socks used in the preview)
edit: i was thinking about making them for kids too and realised it worked with all on the same package, so i've updated them to show up for all ages! now your historical/fantasy disabled kids can use them too :D
info and download under the cut!!
INFO:
you can get the mesh HERE!! (again you don't need it but i recommend it)
bsg compatible
all ages, both frames, all occults
socks cattegory
custom thumbnail + color tagged
for the wood texture i used @silverhammersims MM wood palette! thank you so much for sharing <#
15 swatches of silverhammersims' wood palette + 34 swatches from @hexcodesims BBP palette, each swatch with a black and white socket version (98 swatches total)
you can download them HERE!! (sfs, no addfly no nothing)
the previews and thumbnails were made with magicbot's default feet but the prothesis work with whatever feet you use!! and i'm PRETTY sure they work without the original mesh (i tested it in my game) but s4s crashed on me a few times while adding the mesh on the both legs version so if it doesn't work please let me know :')
and thank you so much for the crutches and poses used on the preview to @bellasims <# 100% would recommend i love them
Maybe a hiatus right when maxis introduces somthing new is not a bad thing cause it seems that people take it as an aprotunity to be as vile as they can be ...
See ya all when people are not being the most disgusting people about disability cc
FYI ANY DISABILITY , MEDICAL , CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS , HOLLYDAY CC SHOULD ALWAYS BE FREE NO PAYWALLING NOT EVEN EARLY ACCESS. Please dont exploit other people's life and identity?? I cant belive thats somthing we have to say now.
okay, so i’ve been wanting to make some accessory amputations (or congenital missing limbs) that aren’t just prosthetics for my sims -- missing forearm, or legs they can wear so that they can take on and off the prosthesis, you know?
(i’ve also been wanting to make some facial abnormalities -- is there a better word for that, disabled tumblr? i should know this, i have MULTIPLE friends with various craniofacial conditions -- because the ONLY time i can get that kind of preset in my game is Halloween and even then they’re not always accurate, and that really fucking bothers me, but anyway i digress.)
i knew it had to be something i could do, because i’ve got things like @natalia-auditore‘s brilliant headless accessory etc. why not use that power for diversity?
ANYWAY i finally got one of them to a place where i was happy, was all psyched, ready to upload and test and it wouldn’t ...work.
why wouldn’t it work. why wasn’t it.....oh shit, i made it in blender 2.92
okay well let’s open it in 2.76! oh. oh we may experience data loss.
So, as you may have figured out, it’s gone. or it’s saved, but. not in a functional way.
This Cc is very close to my heart, both literally and figuratively! I took an actual picture of my chest, where I have a tube that's keeping me alive and happy! SO enough of that... onto the description and link!
Give your sims some diversity with a central venous catheter, also known as a central line! Central lines and ports are used to give life saving medications such as chemotherapy, IV nutrition (TPN), fluids, and many many more uses!
Woohoo! Thanks to @thatonegreenleaf, Carmilla finally has her prosthetics! We’ve been looking for ages. Complete at last~ Now she can stop floating everywhere.
Other CC used:
Outfit 1:
Hair @saurusness | Top @sentate | Skirt @barbieaiden | Necklace @yooniesim | Bag @nekochan-simmer
More disABILITY content! This has been one of the most requested items for me to make! SOOO here it is!
I made two slightly different versions of what's called a gastrostomy tube, otherwise known as a G- Tube! It is a tattoo, BASE GAME compatible, available for any gender, and attached via an ankle tattoo. One swatch is placed slightly higher than another, per request from several people with these tubes! These friends were even kind enough to provide reference photos to help represent in Sims!
I had to do a mini photo shoot inspired by all my chronically fabulous friends!
Hello everyone! I've been working really hard on this project, making service dog vests! I will be sharing two versions, this one being for large dogs and the second being for smaller service dogs!
Service dogs are amazing heroes for so many people with disabilities! After making several ways to customize your sims to be more like you, I couldn't resist including the adorable four legged friends we get to call our partner!
This CC has five swatches varying in color. Three of the swatches include the same patches commonly seen on different service dogs- a "do not pet" patch, and a patch identifying them as a hearing assistance service dog. Two extra swatches include a patch indicating the dog is a medical assistance service dog, as well as two different ribbons. A pink breast cancer ribbon and a green ribbon for mitochondrial disease! All five swatches have "service dog" written in Simlish, and a medical symbol commonly seen on service dogs.
I hope you all like the vests, stay tuned for the vests designed for our smaller service dogs! I also hope to make more patches and swatches in the future! What would you like to see added on the vests? Comment or send me a message!
Sneak peek into my FIRST EVER pack! It's still in the works, but I'm SO excited! This pack will be all disABILITY content. Items that come from real life that either I myself use, or one of my chronically ill friends use and requested I make. In these pictures, I'm showing off some life saving medical devices called a Picc line, and Central line! They are located on the child sims arm, and the adults chest. The IV bags behind them go with, one is even an A- blood transfusion. The poster I made explains the content that once available for download, I hope you'll use! I'd like this to be both realistic and maybe even a little educational! 😘 I made sure to make several swatches for the picc lines, so sims of all ages can still be chronically fabulous and have their picc line sleeves match their outfit and style!
