Now they’re pondering my potions
(Bloodwork)
people often ask me (not once have I been asked this in my life) "Oh wise wizard, how come, despite your great power and magical medicinal knowledge, you still have so many chronic physical ailments? is there some knowledge unbeknownst even to you?".
I could of course, cure my chronic pain if I so wished and I have in the past, however back in my hay days training under the wise one, when I was still young and brash (and uhhh under the influence) I made the mistake of picking a fight with an oracle, who has since spent every waking moment (which them being an oracle, is every moment... like ever) watching me and reapplying the curse within milliseconds whenever I undo it, so after several days of non stop undoing the curse and having it instantly redone on me I eventually gave up as it was clear no progress was being made.
If anyone knows anyway I could perhaps file a curse restraining order on that bastard of an oracle who claims his name is "bill".
Disabled Quidditch Player Headcannon
-The first known disabled quidditch player was a professional chaser who sustained a brain injury when he was hit in the head with a bludger. The brain damage caused him to lose his hearing.
-The first known disabled seeker was a blind Slytherin girl, who joined her house team at the end of 5th year. She played in seven games at Hogwarts and caught the snitch in 6 of them. She went pro for two years before she was killed by a group that is generally considered a predecessor of the Death Eaters.
Hogwarts Students With Epilepsy Headcannon
They aren’t allowed to ride brooms because their seizures might cause them to fall off, so they become some of the best levitators in the school. One of them becomes the first broomless chaser to compete in the Quidditch World Cup.
