Jimmi Simpson and Evan Rachel Wood in Westworld (2016) Dissonance Theory
S1E4
Theresa tells to Bernard that she is stressed since the board will arrive to visit the park. She has also a discussion about Arnold and is threatened by Dr. Ford in the park's restaurant. Dolores joins William and Logan to hunt Slim and his men with a sheriff and she has a daydream. When they find Slim, he asks to be taken to Pariah to meet his friend El Lazo and they would receive more than the amount of the bounty. Meanwhile The Man in Black goes after Wyatt with Lawrence and they stumble upon Teddy, who is tied to a tree wounded and dying. The Man in Black releases Teddy and brings him with them. Maeve has recollections from her past lives and she draws a Westworld employee wearing mask and protective clothing and she finds many copies of the same sketch hidden in an opening on the floor.

Everybody had a meltdown during this apparent "birthday party." Not one person had fun at this event. It was embarrassing.
Words
“Parents, brothers, relatives, and friends.”
That’s the list we get in today’s Gospel. Of the people that will be going after you. Who are going to be sources of persecution, sources of hatred.
It’s hard to imagine how that could happen. Or maybe it isn’t.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving after all. A day that for too many of us turns into an occasion for a full display of unhealthy family dynamics. Where a family get-together becomes little more than a gathering of targets for someone’s bile and hatred.
And that’s in a normal year. With everything that’s happened this year? For a lot of us, it’s only going to be worse.
I’ve talked to a few people who are thankful that the pandemic has provided them with a way to avoid something they didn’t want to do in the first place. If that’s what you need to do to take care of yourself, do it. Consider this permission given from your Holy Mother the Church.
But what if you are going? Then no matter what you’re expecting when you get there, I would ask you to do two things.
First, follow the lead that Jesus gives us in today’s Gospel.
Hand whatever you’re worried about to God. Whatever stupid or hurtful thing you are expecting, “you are not to prepare your defense beforehand.” Which means?
Trust it all to God. And don’t think about it again. Don’t take it back.
Then stand on His promise. That God “will give you a wisdom in speaking.”
In the moment, follow God’s lead. Say what God gives you to say.
And if God gives you nothing? Trust Him, and be silent.
God will always see you through. If you let Him.
Second, use your power to bless.
There will be people who use their words to hurt. That’s their problem. You and me? We’re different.
We’re not just going to listen to God in the moment, when God gives us the right response to someone’s bile and hatred.
We’re going to listen to God in the moment, when God puts it in our hearts to bless someone.
When that still, small voice pushes us to speak up. To tell someone how much they mean to us. To tell them they’re doing a good job. To tell them we’re interested in them. To tell them we’re proud of them. To tell them we love them.
You would be surprised how many hearts are aching for those words of blessing.
When God gives you those words of blessing for someone, give in to that good impulse.
Be the reason that someone gives thanks.

It feels like something that's slowly dying, but leaving would be like hacking off your own limb. Like a choice between living in half life but feeling whole, or living in full with something missing.
Dossier #1: Madge
Title: CFO and HR.
Madge is extremely controlling. She refuses to delegate even basic tasks. She is always extremely busy. Any suggestion of even minor change is met with an extreme knee jerk negative reaction. She is convinced people are trying exclude her in decision making. Also with the recent restructuring she believes that you're either with us or against us and anyone who cooperates with the new head office has committed a deep betrayal.
Memorable Moments:
When I started here I was put in charge of buying all the office supplies. Nobody gave me a budget or any kind of spending guideline so I started a spreadsheet of what I was ordering so I could figure out how often we ordered what and how much we were spending. I showed it to Madge and she liked at me like I had two heads and asked "is that necessary?" She's head of accounting.
She insisted that I would use the enormous electric typewriter on my desk all the time. Couldn't specify for what exactly.
I went to ask a question about health insurance and got treated to a 45 minute story about a cyst she had surgery on. I have now heard this story multiple times.
Was furious (just this week) that the new CEO wanted to have a financial discussion with his various execs because "That's not his business." He is the CEO. It is literally all his business.
