Boyfriend John Silver who loves to cook for you, even if that should go without saying. He’s an acts of service king. He doesn’t really try too hard when he has to make a huge batch of food for hungry pirates that have been working all day, they wouldn’t appreciate the hard work of it anyways. You did though, he was always trying new recipes, learning what spices you did and didn’t like, he wanted to make sure you were well fed, with foods you’ll enjoy.
You sitting on the counter in the kitchen while he cooks up dinner for the two of you. Lifting the spoon he was using to stir everything together to you so you could have a taste. Sometimes you’d ask if he could add a little bit more of an extra ingredient, and you’d get it. Doesn’t matter if it was the last of that specific ingredient for the voyage, his girl was getting fed.
Boyfriend John Silver who is incredibly protective of you. Being on a ship full of pirates ready to attack should the opportunity present itself. His robotic eye narrowing in on anyone who looked at you funny, warning them that you were off limits. It wasn’t hard for him to intimidate others thankfully, one flex of his robotic arm, ready to turn to a weapon was enough to scare off his crew from coming near you. If you ever noticed, he’d brush it off and go back to talking to you like he wasn’t in scary captain mode.
“You okay, Johnny?” You ask him sweetly.
He turned to look at you, face completely softening. “Aye, love, don’t worry yer pretty little head.” He reassured you.
Boyfriend John Silver who is a shameless flirt. He’s got the most beautiful woman in the galaxy on his arm, yeah he’s gonna flirt with her. Unapologetically saying the most out of pocket stuff to you, and he’s not exactly quiet about it.
“Mmm, gods above woman, I could take a bite outta ya right now.” He growls, groping your ass from behind you, out in front of everyone on the deck of the ship.
Heat spreads through your cheeks. You turn your head to glare at him for being so shameless.
He just groans, a grin spreading across his face. “Yeah, lass, keep lookin’ at me like that.”
Yeah anything you do gets him going.
Boyfriend John Silver who’s always touching you. Not necessarily inappropriately, though he does do that often as well. He’s just always has to have a hand on you. His intact hand on your lower back, maybe moving to your hip to bring you closer to him. A tap on the behind as he’s moving past you, that always makes you jump and scold him. It’s also sweet too, when sitting at the kitchen table together, his hand holding yours, his thumb brushing over your knuckles.
When you two are alone, he’ll pull you close to him by your belt loops on your pants. Always pulling a shy giggle from you as you hide your face in his chest.
Boyfriend John Silver who thinks he doesn’t deserve you, someone so good, someone so beautiful. He’s lied, he’s killed, he’s betrayed others, you knew this, yet you loved him anyways. He doesn’t act like it, but he’s a deeply insecure man, and wants the best for you, and doesn’t think that’s him. But you see right through him, assuring you love every bit of him, inside and out. You had what you deserved, he’s your everything.
a/n: John Silver is hot and I’m tired of everyone pretending he’s not
So since I accidentally deleted my blog I lost the actually good fanfic I wrote of Ernesto de la Cruz qwq
Thankfully I still have it on my notes app so once again I hope y’all enjoy my simple cringe 🤍
“Marry you?!” Yn gapped in shock at the request of the skeleton, on his knees before her with a blood red ring in his boney fingers, having stopped a whole concert, one yn was asked to dance in just for this reason, Ernesto never did anything without a good reason or ulterior motive.
“Si Mi hermosa mariposa, you’ve blessed the land of the dead with your beauty and I’d be honored to have the most beautiful of butterflies as mine”
There was the tiniest twinge in his tone, like the living was testing his patience the longer it took her to answer.
Looking between him and the excited crowd it felt like time slowed down around her, would it be a good idea? Wed someone who was basically a king in this world?
But what of her family and the land of the living? And what would happen to her if she stayed here any longer? Would she become a skeleton too?
In a split second decision she ran off past the musician and other dancers, ignoring the shocked gasps and calls to her.
No there was no way! As tempting as it was she couldn’t stay, she had to go home-
He promised her he’d help her get home after she danced in his concert after all.
Running through the backstage halls she could hear Ernesto giving orders to catch her, he still had that charming tone as he called to her, swearing he wasn’t angry and they could talk things over but she had none of it, ducking into one of the dressing rooms and locking the door praying she could find a way back home.
Searching through closets and drawers for something, maybe some kind of shortcut back to the flower bridge?
The sound of knocking took her out of her thoughts and his voice rang through the door
“Now mi vida-“
She could hear him clutching the doorknob like he wanted to tear the door off it’s hinges, the sickly sweet tone hiding rage making her heart race, not sure if she was scared or excited by the tone
“I know I surprised you but there’s no reason to run off like that, I thought you’d like a public proposal!”
Panicked she looked around for something, maybe something she could hit him with but couldn’t find anything, she backed up towards the wall to get as far from the door as much as she could as he continued, the sweet tone in his voice slowly disappearing though clearly trying to hide his real feelings over being embarrassed by the living in front of the audience.
“Ay Mi pájaro cantor encantador.. if you come out we can talk this over, I could give you everything you’ve ever wanted!”
Yn huffed trying not to let the angry tone and sweet promises get to her, glaring at the door
“Y.. You promised you’d help me go home! You said nothing about a proposal!” She managed to get out despite her nerves.
While backing up she found herself against a window and got an idea.
While the lying musician went on she started tearing up clothes and tying them together to make a rope she could climb down, ignoring the banging and knocking on the door
“You’re being VERY unreasonable mi vida! If you come out now I’ll forgive you for making a fool of me out there!”
“It serves you right for pushing that on me outta no where you selfish entitled prince!” She shouted back, surprised when she didn’t hear him reply, only faint whispers and then footsteps that faded away, that was.. out of character for him…
A part of her wondered if he was up to something but shook the thought away and focused on climbing out the window, tossing the end of her makeshift rope made of sparkling clothes out the window and tying the other end to a dresser to keep it still while she climbed down.
Just as she had climbed onto the windowsill and about to repel down she noticed a few boney figures down below her, several skeletal guards and the smug man himself who looked very proud, smiling up her
“I must admit I’m impressed with your resilience, if only you used it for something more productive, I’ll forgive you for ruining my clothes and humiliating me if you stop all this.” He called up to her arms crossed, pleased with himself assuming she’d give up but when she didn’t even say anything back he gestured to the guards and they immediately started climbing up her makeshift rope.
“There’s no need to make this difficult Mi corazón!” He added with a chuckle watching her scramble on the rope
“I’m not gonna be your precious trophy to show off and hang off your arm!” Yn yelled back, panicking seeing the skeletal security climbing closer
Thinking fast she started swinging trying to shake them off before getting another idea, swinging harder she jumped off onto a nearby balcony, looking back at the small group of annoyed and scattered security along with Ernesto who grew more angry as his flower ran away
“Don’t just sit there get her-!”
Yn took off running from them, climbing from ledge to ledge before managing to get back onto the ground and thankfully away from security and her less than happy would be fiancé.
Hiding in an alley to catch her breath she was relieved when nobody came running after her, they must’ve lost her she thought, but knew it wouldn’t be long before they’d find her again, all of the land of the dead knew about Ernesto’s precious living woman, his “dancing butterfly” as he called her, she was nearly as famous as him now and as nice as everyone was she knew they’d take her back to him.
Digging around in the back alley she found some discarded clothes and (regretfully) stole some makeup she’d found and got to work on a disguise, hoping she could try and cross the flower bridge she’d originally crossed through that lead her to this beautiful place, where she’d originally run into and been charmed by the skeletal mariachi who offered her a place to stay and help, now those promises were nothing but fantastical words with no meaning like his sugary lyrics, fingers crossed anyways, Ernesto didn’t really tell her much other than it was used for day of the dead, probably keeping a lot from her so as to not give her ideas on how to leave, the clever bastard.
After finishing her skully makeup and throwing on the old dress and cloak she’d found she took a deep breath and stepped out of the shadowy alley, holding her breath for a moment expecting someone to notice she wasn’t a skeleton but no shouting came, nobody came running towards her, everyone went about their way and their usual afterlife.
With a small sigh of relief she started towards the end of town where the bridge was, she’d seen it from his tower, it was a beautiful sight even from far away, she still remembered earlier that day when she first crossed it, originally stumbling across the orange marigold petals in the world of the living and well as they say, curiosity killed the cat, or in this case caged the butterfly.
All seemed fine for awhile as she blended in perfectly, until she noticed a few cops wandering the streets, asking people if they’d seen her at all.
Yn tried to stay calm as she walked past them, pulling the hood of the cloak over her more just in case they saw through her makeup, one skeleton cop stopped her-
“Perdóneme señora-“ they grabbed her shoulder getting the woman to stop;
She flinched expecting she was caught but surprisingly,
“Have you seen the living woman? Señor De La Cruz is worried sick that she’s gone missing.” They explained, showing her a wanted poster of her own face, when did they have time to print these?
With a faux worried smile she shook her head “ah n-no I’m afraid not, I’m sorry
o-oficial…” she mumbled out shrugging trying to act nonchalant, as if nothing was wrong.
But luckily for her the cop didn’t suspect anything, only nodding and thanking her for her time before walking off to ask another person.
Yn pulled her cloak closer and walked a bit faster than before hoping to get to the bridge before someone else stopped her.
By some miracle she reached the petal bridge unbothered finally, fast walking through the fenced in line to the front where she was greeted by the woman running it.
“Hello, how can I help? Are you going to visit family?” She asked her with a kind smile
“Oh um yes! I almost forgot to see them tonight!” Yn lied smiling innocently
“Well first I need to check your photo, can’t get through if it’s not on your family’s ofrenda after all.” The skeletal woman said chuckling softly as she started the computer in front of her,
“All formalities but you’ll be on your way in a-“ she stopped when the computer beeped negatively, yn’s face dropping confused and worried
“Lo siento señora it says you don’t have a photo.” She said with a sympathetic smile to the disguised woman
“Wa- what? But..” after a split second of thinking she quickly wiped off the makeup with the sleeve of her dress, surprising the bridge guard.
“Okay listen- I-I’m not really dead, but I have to get back to the living world, c-can you just.. I don’t let me through?” Yn asked, practically pleading her
The skeletal woman looked at her shocked but quickly was amazed
“Oh! You’re la mariposa bailarina! What’re you doing here? Señor De La Cruz has been looking all over you!” She said excitedly
“Um y-yeah but he uh said it was my time to leave! I can’t stay forever..” she said laughing nervously
“Nonsense! I heard about the proposal at his concert today, felicidades by the way” she said with an innocently kind smile
“Well h-he said I could go to the living world one more time, gotta tie up loose ends with family and all ya know?” Yn said trying to think of ANY good excuse but unfortunately the skeleton didn’t have it
“Oh don’t be silly señora! That’s just wedding jitters! I was the same when I got married, here let me call you an escort, señor De La Cruz will be so relieved to see you’re okay!” She said as she began dialing the phone next to her.
Though before she could make a call yn sprinted off back into town-
Screw it maybe she could find another way home!
She rushed past people in the street ignoring their confused looks and calls until her running was halted, running into a set of ribs where a burly chest once was, a white charro jacket and a baritone voice,
“Ah there you are! I was worried something terrible had happened to you!” Ernesto said putting his arms around her, seemingly gentle to the growing crowd but yn could feel the possessive grip he had on her shoulders, if she looked up at him it would be clear he was hiding his rage for her running away with a sickly sweet, seemingly charming smile, mostly for the sake of the crowd that gathered.
“Yeah h-hey…” she mumbled with a cringing smile as she reluctantly looked up at him, despite her own anger she couldn’t help but blush looking at him, stupid charming smile, those annoying chocolate eyes, his soothing deep voice.. the feeling of his arms around her…
No- focus damnit!
She tried to subtly get out of his arms while he addressed the crowd,
“Thank you for your efforts trying to find her, the poor girl must be exhausted and she needs to get ready for the big event!” He said with a tone of grandeur, exciting the crowd while the two walked back to his home.
The tiny alebrijes greeted their owner and his runaway butterfly as they walked inside.
His charming tone from in front of the crowd was gone, roughly shoving her aside
“This little game of yours ends here- no more running or any of this foolishness!” He shouted while she walked away from him
“Sorry I don’t marry liars! Maybe if you’d kept your word I would’ve consider it.” She said in a sarcastic tone with an equally insincere smile thrown over her shoulder at the furious skeleton
“Ohh wait- if you kept your word I WOULD BE BACK WITH THE LIVING AND BACK HOME!” She shouted at him in return before she stomped off, only to have her wrist caught by his boney hand.
His demeanor had changed, seemingly more calm and his usual alluring charm was back as though they weren’t just fighting barely a second ago.
“Please mi joya preciosa.. I don’t wish to fight with you, perhaps it did start at first that I wanted you to dance for me but you’re a wonderful young woman, all I want now is the want to spoil you rotten, anything your darling heart could ask for, you’d be comfortable here I promise you..” he whispered gently pulling her closer, she hesitantly allowed it, giving him a skeptical look.
His promises did sound, well promising..
Sure she’d miss her family but her life was so boring.. she felt so plain and even ugly compared to most, but here he was, a celebrity practically begging her to stay..
Would it be so bad? Maybe if she made him apologize.. he seemingly would do anything if it meant she’d stay and was pleased, and he was handsome, as far as skeletons go..

Good ending💍
She looked at Ernesto nervously, obviously thinking his words over as she looked into his eyes, eye sockets? Either way.
“I.. I don’t know, it all sounds.. honestly wonderful…” she said with a soft chuckle, wiping her eye with her free hand feeling tears well up, all of this felt insane..
“Mi corazón.. I’d do just about anything to bring a smile to your face, I.. I’m so sorry for everything..” he mumbled, surprising yn, she was sure she would’ve had to force him to apologize, even threaten him if it came to it.
After a quick moment of silence she spoke up “do.. do you mean all of that? I won’t give my answer unless you’re serious..” she said with a solemn look that tell him she was dead serious, no joking or sly remarks from either of them this time.
He gave her a faint, surprisingly genuine smile, and nodded, gently taking both of her warm hands in his, even without the warmth of skin she could feel some sort of coziness from him in that moment, different from the coldness she’d felt after her escapades after the concert.
“Sí I mean every word Mi vida..” he whispered in a tone that made his sincerity clear, no hint of sarcasm or lies this time.
She took a deep breath and looked up at him
“Alright, I’ll do it.. I’ll admit, all of this attention you’ve given me.. it’s more than what most people would wish for, most people back home never really pay attention to me..” yn admitted, looking away ashamed
“And even before coming here, I’d heard so much about you, I.. I’ve always sort of, wished I could’ve met you, I’d always visit record and thrift stores for your albums and movies..” she added laughing softly with a shy flush on her cheeks.
Ernesto picked her up in a tight but gentle hug excited by her answer, even spinning her around for a moment in the excitement
“This is wonderful! I swear on my afterlife I’ll make sure you’re happy!” He said before setting her back down
“Ah okay okay- one thing though.” She said giving him another stern look, but more amused this time compared to before
“I don’t know how all this works but.. I’ll only marry you on one condition-“
“Anything! Just name it Mi mariposa.” He said kissing her hands over and over, making her blush even further
“If you allow me to visit the living world every now and again, I do.. love you, a lot actually… but I don’t wanna become a skeleton, at least not before it’s really my time to go..” she whispered looking at him cautiously, worried this would be a deal breaker for him.
The mariachi was silent for a bit, worrying her further but she could see the gears were turning in his skull as he thought her request over.
“Very well, I’ll make sure you have free passage to the living world, how does every nine months sounds? It’ll right around dia de los muertos and everyone will be able to go to the land of the living, and don’t worry it’ll be enough time that you won’t change and lose your lovely plump body, you have my word.”
He swore to her with a genuine smile, a slightly less than innocent twist to it though, as if he was imagining her in certain situations, yn having her own thoughts for a moment before she thought his offer over for a few seconds, before returning his smile, blushing even more at his subtly flirty words
“Alright, I can work with that, I can be the Persephone to your Hades.” She said chuckling at the amusing confused look on his face at her mythology joke.
She leaned close and pecked his boney cheek, if Ernesto could blush he would’ve been at the gesture,
“Don’t worry big guy I’ll explain later, we have wedding to prepare right?”
He smirked softly and pulled her into a gentle kiss.
The very stage where this started was decorated for the occasion, flower petals spread all over and an arch of marigolds set up on stage with him waiting underneath the beautiful arch.
It wasn’t long until yn walked up to the stage, dressed divinely in the finest dress he could have made for her, different flowers put in her hair, blazing star, blue bells, bright red roses that matched the blood red ring he had for her, ready to put on her, and lavenders at her request.
Still feeling embarrassed she tried hiding her face in her bouquet once she was in front of him.
In a sincerely loving gesture he reached out and tucked her hair behind her ear, his hand lingering on her cheek before the ceremony began.
True to his character the party after the ceremony was exhilarating, exciting music playing, food everywhere along with people around them dancing, though the now newly weds didn’t notice, happily dancing together ignoring everyone else.
It seemed so strange but yn grew to love the oddity of everything, she would be sure to whip the skeletal musician into shape and clean up his big ego, her spoiled little prince of a husband, but she truly grew to love him, as embarrassed as she was to admit it even now.
“So.. will you still dance for me?” He asked with a sly smirk as they danced, making her laugh softly
“God fine- I’ll be your little mariposa bailarina.” She asked smiling embarrassed
“Maybe for the next performance I’ll detect a song to you..”
“You better you boney meathead..” she replied with just as cheeky of a smirk.

Ending 2
Bad ending🏃🏻♀️
She looked at Ernesto nervously, obviously thinking his words over as she looked into his eyes, eye sockets? Either way.
She pulled her wrist out of his grip, glaring at him, no, no she couldn’t- no matter how tempting his offer and promises were there was just no way!
“I.. I’m sorry Ernesto, but I can’t.. I won’t-“
She said with an angry but nervous glare
His charming facade dropped, giving her a glare in return
“So.. that’s your answer?” He asked in a surprisingly calm voice, yn nodded
“Yes, I’m sorry.. but I don’t belong here, you have to understand that.” She said pretty much pleading with him.
“Stay here any longer and you won’t have choice in the matter perra ingrata..” he said with venom in his voice, roughly grabbing her face, pinching her cheeks as he made her look up at him
“Now do I have lock you in the room I was so generous to set up for you?” Ernesto whispered, giving her a sickly sweet smile that didn’t match his angry tone.
In a rush of adrenaline she shoved him off her and ran, heading out to the front door and shoving her way into the shuttles that went up the tower, yn could hear Ernesto shouting for her, not bothering to pretend around the crowds this time.
Luckily the shuttle doors slammed in his face as he banged his fists on the windows
“How can you be so ungrateful?! I could’ve made you a queen if you’d said yes! No one says no Ernesto De La Cruz!”
“Well there’s a first time for everything!” She yelled back from inside the shuttle car before it took off down the tower, yn gave him a smug smile and a swift middle finger.
Eventually the shuttle stopped at the bottom and once again yn took off running back towards the flower bridge, hoping it wasn’t too late for her to get back to town.
Not far behind her she could hear the enraged mariachi shouting and calling to her, demanding she come back
“The wedding is off you spoiled talentless jerk!” She shouted back at him from over her shoulder, jumping over the railings that lead to the bridge, which started to fall apart.
Security tried to stop him knowing what would happen if someone tried to leave as the sun was rising
“Let me go! Stop her!” He exclaimed shoving them off him
“Get over it you fat headed ass! It’s over!” Yn yelled as she ran across the slowly collapsing bridge until that familiar boney hand grabbed her arm
“I’m not letting you leave after that you llave sin clase!” He said trying to pull her closer to him, how was he so strong without muscles?!
“Learn to write a proper song you fucking jerk!” Yn shouted kicking his face, forcing him to let go so she could run the rest of the way across, leaving Ernesto angry and stunned while getting dragged by security before he could disappear
She fell through onto the ground of the graveyard, behind her the marigold bridge had disappeared, only a few petals were left in its place.
A security guard walked up to her and helped her get up “señora are you alright?”
They said while she dusted herself off.
“Ah y-yes I’m okay, I was uh v-visiting family lo siento..” she mumbled nervously, though relieved to see another human instead of a skeleton finally
“That’s good, I’m afraid the cemetery is closed until later today.” They explained while yn followed them away from the gravyard
Turning around she could see her would be fiancé’s grave, topped with a bust of him in life, she gave a sympathetic smile to the statue
“Sorry amor, maybe we’ll meet again..” she whispered mostly to herself as she left the cemetery.
Summary: Descendants, Ben Florian/Reader, Soulmate au where every bad thing you’ve thought of yourself/been called and believed appears on your soulmates skin.
Ben was no stranger to cruel words, no one dared used them against him, but whoever his soulmate was had a huge problem with it. Ben’s four when the words start appearing, he’s not one hundred percent sure what they say but the way his parents cover them up he knows it's not good. Ben’s used to the burning that comes across with new words; he can feel it on his left arm and he hazards a look pulling up the long sleeves he decided are better suited to someone with the amount of words he has. Mutt inks itself running down his left arm over his veins. He sighs and makes a note of it in the notebook he keeps of all the words, and reasons he thinks his soulmate isn’t them. He’s counting them up when Audrey peers over the list and he snaps it shut.
“Benny-boo; calm down.” She grins at him and he can see the words dumb-ass over her collar bone. He knows Chad has the word Ditzy on the same spot. He doesn’t say anything about it and neither does Audrey when she asks to date him as cover. Not that her parents disapprove of Chad but she knows he doesn’t consider himself good enough.
”The children on the Isle don’t deserve to suffer; and we already know some of them may have soulmates here; we should start trying to find them; to bring some over.”
“And how do you propose we do that?”
“Using the word registry on the Isle; I’ve already collected some names; some kids who are most likely to have soulmates over here in Auradon.”
“Children of villains? You think we can bring them over? That they’ll be okay here, that we’ll be safe?”
On the Isle of the lost, when Ben is talking to his parents, after his father disapproves of his proclamation; the word Disappointment carves itself over your throat. You’d known better than to scream out when the burning started but when you’d uncurled from the ball you’d shrunk into, when Carlos is staring at you grinning like a maniac.
“You do have a soulmate.” He hums nudging you towards the mirror. You trace your finger over the word, sighing wondering who had gotten to your soulmate so badly that he believed he could be a disappointment for the first time in his life. Carlos grins and Jay laughs when you show it to him, he offers you a plain black choker to cover it and you know it’ll be a new staple in your wardrobe.
It’s when maleficent corners you and explains about playing guard dog, you snort at her before her glare and the blade she pulls has you hissing in pain and nodding along with her words as
Creature carves itself along Ben’s left shin. You don’t realize you were already supposed to go, the lack of words on your skin was the main criteria as to why you’d been brought, the assumption that the low word count meant your soulmate was in Auradon not on the Isle. Evie and Mal were the same but only because they were each other’s, able to protect and convince the other that whatever insults were thrown at each other were lies. Evie still has Lizard on her stomach and Mal has ugly in the same spot. Jay had a handful, a normal occurance on the Isle, but there were only three common Isle-isms as everyone called them; useless, freak, worthless; he also had the words fake royalty and problem-child which lead to confusion as Carlos had those words but also had theif and liar. Triads existed but no one on the Isle besides Uma, Harry, and Gil had been lucky enough to find each other and stay together. You watch the other parents fussing over their kids, reminding them how evil they have to be, you hesitate when your dad beckons you over.
“There we are, oh, a word, let's just cover that up shall we.” He grins and you realize all the word has done is given him an excuse as he buckles the choker around your throat, you’d been dragged out of your bed, after a night running errands instead of sleeping so you hadn’t had time to put it on.
“Now no one has to know.” He nods and you nod back mumbling the code he’s given you throughout your life.
“Survival by any means.” He grins and you can see the word foolish on his arm, faded and scared, the fact his soulmate had died evident by the washed out words, the scarring showing how much it hurt him.
“Y/N you okay?” Carlos asks and you suck a breath in before nodding.
“You sure?”
“What if my soulmate is in Auradon? What words do they have on them because of me?” You squirm in the seat and Evie’s hand pats your shoulder.
“You’ll be alright, besides we’ll be here if you need.”
“Yeah I can beat the shit outta them if- not a good idea.” Jay frowns when Carlos glares and you laugh.
“I pity whoever exists in your triad from here.” You nod as the limo starts moving through the barrier. You grin at the candy shoving as much as you can into the only bag your dad had given you, a small satchel that held some food and the plush rabbit you’d had since you were little.
When you stumble out of the limo shaking slightly at the thought of almost having died, you take in the group of Auradon students huddled around, the Fairy Godmother standing, grin faltering. You let Mal and the rest of them take the lead.
“Hello I’m Ben; it’s a pleasure to meet all of you; you were all chosen because of your words, or rather lack of words. It’s assumed that you all have soulmates here.”
“Evie and I are soulmates.” Mal speaks and Ben’s grin doesn’t falter, before he turns slightly toward you, Jay and Carlos.
“Well at least you three might have soulmates here.” Jay grins about to interrupt when you can tell his voice changes.
“Hello foxy.” He grins when the girl in pink rolls her eyes but you can tell he’s looking past her to the girl with the black bobbed hair cut. You grin under your hand when her eyes widen and she steps behind the Fairy Godmother; you notice the word Thief, and worthless on the inside of her arm. You decide not to say anything and you look up when a shadow falls over you.
“Ben.”
“Y/N.” You offer your hand out and he grins a little.
“Alright follow me, I’ll be giving you all a tour.” Ben repeats what Fairy Godmother had said after the welcoming speech. Carlos screams when Ben claps his hands and the statue morphs.
“The statue is supposed to change, to show how we can always choose our destinies and our choice make us who we are.”
“Does he shed?” Mal grins at Ben.
“Mom won’t let him on the couch.”
“My dad doesn’t let me on the couch either. Says I’m a fur monster.” You grumble and can see the shock on Ben’s face, you notice how he steps towards you. You step back and he still looks worried but Audrey pulls him along.
“So we can get your bags and things once you see the dorms. Mal and Evie you’ll be rooming together, same with Jay and Carlos, Y/N you’re rooming with Jane.”
“Jane?” You question as you open the door. You blink seeing the girl with the black bobbed hair sitting on her bed, she jumps slightly and you scoot back.
“Sorry I just-“
“Sorry; oh.” She grins and extends her hand nervously, you return the handshake just as nervously.
“Do you have bags at all?”
“No, just this.” You motion to the bag you’d brought with you empty now that you’d left the candy with Jay and Carlos. Jay had offered you some of the jewelry he’d taken from people you’d refused.
“It’s nice to meet you Jane; I’m sorry you’re probably hating rooming with a vk.”
“I don’t mind; my mom taught me that anyone can be good on the inside.” You offer an awkward smile.
“You have a vk for a soulmate right?”
“How did you know?”
“Worthless and thief don’t seem like something anyone on Auradon would call each other.”
“So remedial goodness 101, you find a baby in the woods alone what do you do?” Fairy Godmother asks and you can see Jane walking up.
“Y/N; can you give me the right answer?” You chew your lip.
“You uhh, can you eat it if you carve out its heart?” You can hear Jane bite down a scream and even Evie and Jay stare shocked.
“You give it a bottle. Psycho.” Mal chuckles
“But you could drink the bottle and then just-“
“Y/N. The answer is giving it a bottle.” Fairy Godmother cuts across and you hold your breath jerking back waiting for her to attack.
“I’m sorry.” You cringe ducking your chair feeling the way your claws grow to defend yourself when your breathing goes shaky. You try your best to calm yourself down as fast as possible.
“You have a long way to go dear.” Fairy Godmother keeps her voice softer than you know she needs to and she steps back to the board. Across the school the word Psycho burns onto Ben’s back.
I can’t believe you thought it was D; that’s crazy! Why would you do that to a baby!”
“It’s gonna die anyways! Might as well make use of it!”
“Hey Ben.”
“Hey how’re you guys doing in classes? I heard there was a hiccup in Remedial Goodness 101.”
“Sort of Y/N answered a question wrong. Little psycho.” Ben flinches slightly and you shift nervously.
“Oh what happened?” Audrey appears.
“Y/N said it was D, when you find a baby in the woods you carve out it’s heart.”
“It was mainly the fact she was talking about eating it.”
“Not raw! Just, it doesn’t make any sense to put effort into raising something when it’s just gonna die.”
“But it’s a human baby, that’s just-“
“Wait, it was a human baby?”
“What else should it have been?”
“An animal that lives in the forest??” Ben chuckles a little and you grin.
“So Chad was trying to talk to me, and he mentioned about the coronation.” Mal becomes interested as Evie explains how Ben's soulmate is meant to be next to him.
“It’s assumed all Auradonian’s meet their soulmates young apparently.” Evie shrugs and Mal grins.
“So we just whip up a soulmate potion.”
“Soulmate potion?”
“It’s like a love spell, but it will enchant the person who takes it into thinking the person that gave it to them is their soulmate; apparently they hallucinate words and everything.”
“Wow sounds intense.” Jay comments.
“How are we supposed to give it to him; can’t just walk up and be like “here Ben, drink this.’ He’ll totally believe that yeah” Mal grins.
“We bake it into cookies.”
“Cookies? You think he’ll believe that? He’s an Auradon kid.”
“I’m sure they’re that gullible.” Evie grins and you follow everyone down to the kitchen.
Lonnie appears when you’re almost finished with the cookies and explains how you should put chocolate chips into it.
“I mean my parents were totally okay with me not having a soulmate right off the bat.”
“Your parents wanted you to have one?”
“Of course. Don’t your parents want you to be happy?”
“Soulmates are a danger; you have to protect them just as much as you protect yourself. You take away focus on yourself; you become weak.” You recite what your father had always told you.
“So you guys; you don’t want to meet your soulmates?”
“It would be better if they never met us. We’re not good for them.” Jay speaks up and you nod with Carlos. Lonnie tears up and Mal catches it.
“Well you should get to bed! We’re going to head back up too! It’s too late for us to be up more. Since we’re trying to be good and all!” Mal sighs in relief when Lonnie leaves and you shrug off Carlos’ arm.
“He asked me on a date! What if he asks about words!” You cringe at Evie and Mal who shrug.
“Say you don’t have any?”
“What if that exposes me!”
“She has a point; I mean the potions meant to make him see whatever he thinks should be on his soulmate; but it might not cover the real words.” Mal chews her lip nodding to Evie.
“Don’t worry! It’s nothing at all to put a little makeup on you, cover your words right up!” Evie grins.
“Just the one.” You shrug unbuckling the choker you always wear.
“See.” Evie frowns at the word and sighs before softly running the brush over it.
“There we go, all covered.”
“Y/N, do you want to come in?” Ben grins at you as he starts to pull his top off. You turn your head so you don’t have to look at whatever words he might have.
“No it’s okay, Evie said I’m not supposed to get make-up wet.” You laugh gesturing to your face, relieved you have an excuse. He nods grinning as he climbs up to the top of a group of rocks, you can barely see his words, just black smudges on his skin. You laugh when he roars and jumps, you turn your attention back to the food he’d left excitedly eating another little cake watching the water for him to appear.
“Ben?” You try your best not to sound nervous but when you still don’t see him you can’t help the panic that bubbles in your chest.
“BEN!” You half run and half jump into the lake, struggling forward and trying not to breathe in too much water.
“Ben where- Ahhh” You yelp when he appears under you holding you.
“Ben!” You don’t care how you sound as you cling to him.
“Yes darling? Hey, you okay?”
“I thought you drowned!! I didn’t see you in the water!”
“And you jumped in to save me? Even though it was going to remove the make-up?”
“I don’t care about the make-up, I can’t even swim! You could’ve been hurt!” You stutter slightly shivering and Ben pulls his jacket around you. You freeze when his fingers brush your throat.
“I guess I do feel like a disappointment.” He swallows and you take in the words on his body. Mutt. Worthless. Freak. Fur Monster. Slut. Creature. Psycho. You try not to think about how the spell must also be working for you; for all you know he has some Auradon princess somewhere that’ll match up with all those words. Liar. You think to yourself and gape when it carves itself over his heart.
“You’re lying to me Y/N?” You feel a little sick at how much the spell must be working, at how strong Auradon has made Mal’s magic.
“No I just; it’s nothing I swear just-“ You hesitate and he sighs shaking his head before he sighs as well.
“You’re my soulmate. I’ll love you no matter what. Anything that’s happening you can talk to me; I’ll understand.”
“I don’t, I don’t know how that feels. Having a soulmate; being in love. I don’t know anything about it.” You hope it's enough for him to believe, and you try not to think about how it’s true.
“Can I show you?” He grins a little and you stare shocked before nodding.
“I’d like that, Ben.” He grins back at you and when you’re sitting back on the bed between Evie and Carlos sobbing you realize you don’t have the right words to explain what’s wrong with you, you can’t tell them that he might actually be your soulmate. Ben frowns when Villian burns itself under Liar.
“We have a surprise for family day, since your parents can’t be here for well, reasons.” Fairy Godmother grins nudging the stand and monitor forward slightly. You can see everyone’s parents and wait, a faint movement in the shadow’s is all you see of your father.
“Mal! I M-Miss you.” You let the villains talk and Carlos back talks to his mom, Jay’s about to turn it off when your father crowds the screen.
“Y/N.”
“Yes daddy?” You don’t look him in the eye.
“I heard you found your soulmate.”
“Yes.”
“Survival by any means.” He snarls and you nod glancing up for him to flash his arm for a second too long, anyone else would think he’s moving out of the way, Jay turns it off as your father whips his head around to snarl and you jump back.
“I know your dad can be tough, but if you need help, ask.”Jay mumbles to you and you nod, turning when Ben appears at the doorway with Jane.
“Violent is the word I believe.” You mumble to Jay and you swallow when Ben grins at you.
“Did it go okay?” You don’t look him in the eyes and shrug; he pulls you into a hug.
“I’m sorry.”
“He actually talked to me this time, so that’s a plus.”
You’re nervous about the family day, you don’t know how everyone is going to react, you know Ben hadn’t told his family about the two of you being soulmates as far as he thought.
“Mom, dad, this is Y/N. My soulmate.” You can see Belle’s about to faint and you step back behind Ben when the Beast glares.
“Pleasure.” He almost growls and you swallow trying not to think of your father as you nervously refuse to meet his gaze.
“The same sir.”
“She’ll be with us for lunch.”
“Oh how; nice…”
“I can sit with my friends if you’d rather sir,I know how important family time is to Ben; it’s no problem.” You can see Ben glare at his father and you shuffle forward intent on defending him but no threat comes, just his father sighing and nodding.
“How about a game of croquet before lunch; you can invite your friends; the more the merrier.”
“Great idea!” Ben grins and he and his mother share a look as he leads you off.
You can see Mal standing awkwardly next to Audrey and you’re not sure what’s about to happen but you can see how Chad shoves himself forward.
“Chad!” Jay snarls when he shoves Evie back. You shove yourself forward in between them.
“Stay away from them.”
“Or what, you’ll growl at me?” Chad mocks and you sigh trying to calm yourself down.
“Awww just a little puppy aren’t you, bet you can’t even-“ You can’t help at least letting your claws grow; snarling as you slap him across the face; you can see the blood and the fear in everyone’s eyes.
“Y/N!” Ben pulls you back and Chad and Audrey look horrified.
“You’re siding with a Villian? With that creature?”
“She’s my soulmate.” You swear you can both hear only the uproar the auradonians make and the pin dropping from the silence.
Giselle would call you beautiful any chance she could. She’d never shy away from showing you how enamored she was by you.
She’d love for the two of you to get pampered together or pamper each other in any way you would enjoy.
She would most certainly design some clothes for you that would fit your style, no matter what it was, and that would look wonderful on you.
In the same vein, Giselle would also want to see you get fully dolled up; big, Andalasia style dress, fixed hair, and heels at least once.
There would be lots of bragging. She’d be so smitten with you that she’d have to gush about you whenever she had the chance. “My girlfriend/wife/partner is so talented. Look what she did!”
You’d find her singing songs that reminded her of you, or that made her think of a moment you shared together while she was busy doing something else.
Matching! Not in complete couple outfits, but in accessories or maybe you’d have the same print somewhere on your clothes. It wouldn’t be glaringly obvious, but it’d be noticeable.
Gieselle would surprise you with little gifts a lot, tailored to your tastes. Usually it’d be something she saw that reminded her of you, but sometimes it’d be something you mentioned wanting or needing.
Things being turned into friendly competition. “First one to that tree gets the other’s dessert.” “Bet I could climb higher than you.” And so on.
Merida venting to you when she gets frustrated. She’d just need you there to listen to her so she felt heard.
Getting into trouble together. Her parents would follow the rule that while you’re under their roof, you get punished just the same. Well, at least the Queen would,
Merida helping you learn to shoot a bow, or help you improve if you already know the basics.
Going on adventures together; riding further than you’ve ever gone, going to places you’ve never seen, and finding your way back again. As long as someone knows where you are.
Staying up late, laughing the night away while you tell stories and old fables.
Pulling pranks on each other now and again. Nothing that purposefully causes damage, of course. Just innocent fun.
Merida making sure that you knew, no matter what, you were always home when the two of you were together.
You’re very obviously not afraid of Silver, and it makes him incredibly hard
CW: spitting, angry/hate flirting, it’s rough and hot, nothing explicit happens tho, Silver and reader are around the same age, Jim is your sister’s son
You tried to escape the ship with Jim and the others when the mutiny happened. But you got caught helping Jim escape with the map. You didn’t care what happened to you; all that mattered to you was that your nephew was safe and the pirates didn’t have the map.
The two pirates who caught you dragged you back up to the main deck of the ship. Your arms were tied behind your back as they pushed you towards their captain, a man you grew to trust during your time on the ship with him, John Silver. They shoved you forward, forcing you to your knees in front of him, head yanked up by the roots of your hair until your eyes locked on his.
“She was helpin’ the boy escape,” one pirate grunted. “Tried to fight, too. Feisty thing.”
Silver stepped forward, the sound of his boots echoing on the deck, slow and deliberate. His expression unreadable, that steel leg hissing softly as he moved.
“Well now,” he drawled, crouching to meet you, eye to eye, “you weren’t the one I expected ‘em to catch, lass.”
You didn’t respond with anything but a nasty glare.
“Now don’t be like that, pretty,” he murmured. His hand came up slowly, fingers curling under your chin. The touch was surprisingly gentle—but you knew better. “You’ll get to help us get back that map.”
“Bite me,” you hissed, then spit—right in his face.
The crack in his composure was immediate. His head jerked back, and he wiped the spit with the back of his gloved hand, slow and tense. The crew behind him fell silent, like the whole damn ship was holding its breath.
Then—a growl.
He grabbed your face roughly with his prosthetic hand, the cold edge of it biting into your cheek. His other hand braced the wall beside your head as he loomed over you.
“I’ve slit men’s throats for less than that,” he snarled.
He threatened you, yet your glare didn’t falter. You were tied up, dirty, kneeling in front of him with your chest rising and falling from adrenaline—and still, you weren’t scared. Still, you stared him down with those sharp, unyielding eyes and that smart mouth that had haunted too many of his nights already. Most would’ve cowered in fear by now, hell, long before that in fact. Not you, you’ve spent enough time with the pirate on the ship to know what he would and wouldn’t do. He wouldn’t admit it, but he grew to care about you and Jim. He could lie all he wanted, but you weren’t stupid; you got under his skin.
“You think I won’t throw you in the brig, girl?” he hissed low, voice dark with false menace.
“I think you’re full of shit,” you shot back, calm as ever. “If you wanted me gone, I’d be halfway to orbit already. But here I am.”
Through his glare, you just kept eye contact, refusing to break first.
He should’ve thrown you overboard. Should’ve broken you.
Instead, his cock twitched in his trousers.
He laughed, low and strained, and it sent a ripple of heat up your spine.
“Ain’t afraid one bit, are ya?”
“You’re not nearly as terrifying as you think you are, Silver,” you said coolly, dragging your eyes deliberately over his features. “You forget—I know you.”
That made his jaw clench. Something primal flared in his chest. He wanted to rip the bindings off your wrists just so he could pin you down himself. Wanted to see you snarl and curse beneath him until you snapped, until you begged.
He clenched his jaw, feeling the unmistakable pull of arousal—annoying, insistent, completely uninvited.
Something about the way you were challenging Silver was driving him insane; he could feel his cock twitching in his trousers as he studied your confident glare. It didn’t help that you were bound and kneeling in front of him. He wished your position were under different circumstances.
Your defiance was refreshing; most wouldn’t dare even think of spitting at him, giving him attitude like you did. He liked the challenge; it only made him want to push you more until he broke you. Make your cry out and beg him to stop.
He shook his head as he lightly chuckled to himself.
Gods above, all he wanted to do was take you right then and there in front of his crew. Give you a reason to fear him.
Before he could make any kind of move he might regret, he released his grip on your face and straightened himself up.
He nods towards the two who brought you in. “Take her to my quarters,” he ordered sharply.
The pirates exchanged a look.
He turned on them with a snarl. “Now.”
They scrambled to obey, grabbing your arms and yanking you upright. You didn’t resist. You kept your head high, meeting Silver’s stare one last time as they dragged you toward the stairwell.
Summary: 🎃 Carlos/Reader; Reader comes to a halloween party dressed Sexy, much to Carlos’ surprise
October Challenge
“So Jay when do you think she’ll get here?”
“Carlos, I don’t really care, for all we know she probably won’t show up, you know how she does with Auradon parties.”
“Well yeah, but it’s Halloween so she’ll have to show up. Besides you’re her boyfriend you told her to show up because it was a bonding moment for all of us, but also cause you wanna make out with her.”
“You’re forgetting this in only her third party with aloof us together, she has to get used to herself all over again before she can show up to a party with a bunch of Auradon kids, and then the other VK’s.”
“Hey guys, not to break up your little bro chat but you’ll never guess who’s here. And looking hotter than hell.” Chad smirks.
“Damnnn Carlos your new girl cleans up much nicer than me.” Gil laughs and Uma rolls her eyes at him and Harry pretending to be blinded.
Carlos glares at Evie who smiles and waves you over to their group.
“Did you tell her to wear that?” He turns to Evie.
“She chose her costume all on her own.” She chuckles at Carlos’s reaction
“I don’t believe it.” You can feel Carlos’s eyes on you and you smile to yourself. The shorts you’re wearing are almost invisible under the shirt, its oversized, practically a dress, even if the top buttons are undone, Evie had helped you secure them so there wouldn’t be any wardrobe malfunctions.
You smirk and walk up.
“Hey Carlos, the party seems fun.. Where’s everyone? Theirs like half the vk’s here.”
“This is all that’s coming I guess, most of them show up later, Uma said there was a party on the isle they were going to go to first.”
“Oh.” You fake a pout and wander off into the kitchen. You can feel someone following you and laugh when a hand catches your shoulder.
“Yikes is the big bad VK out to hurt little old me.” You grin and laugh a little.
“What the hell are you wearing Y/N.”
“You told me you wanted to be a vet, so I dressed up like one. See I even have a little stuffed puppy.” You grin and wave the stuffed dog.
“Can you please go back and change to something less, distracting.”
“Oh? Picturing me as a vet is distracting, you must be so excited to start school for that.’ You grin and kiss his cheek.
“I’ll be back as soon as possible, Uma, can you help me, Evie’s busy.” You nod over to where she and Mal are talking very excitedly to Ben who just looks confused.
-
You’d had Uma help you sneak into the boys room, she knew the dorms better than you and when she watches you pull out one of Carlos’ outfits she laughs offering you the scissors, you grin happy she’s already caught on as you cut the shorts in half and thread a belt through pulling them up. You add a few additional cuts onto the shirt, and start digging around to find all the belts and ties you need,
By the end of it you’re wearing an altered version of Carlos’ outfit. The shorts are mostly the same, just much shorter, you have all the belts attached, they’re almost double the length of the shorts. The shirt has been trimmed to a crop top, a mesh shirt you have is underneath it and the jacket has kept the length, you’re wearing your own boots, having added mismatched black and white thigh high socks. You’ve added a few chain necklaces and an old collar you’d found at the bottom of the closet, you’re pretty sure Carlos used to use it as decoration on his boots.
”Okay how does this look?” You beam at Carlos.
“Worse.” He groans, shaking his head, clearly trying to hide laughter. You grin even harder leaning forward to kiss Carlos. He sighs, fingers pulling you by the jacket closer.
“Soooo what do you think?” You laugh, biting your lip and spinning.
“You sure it’s bad?” You grin a little and Carlos narrows his eyes as everyone before he huffs, shrugging and clearly trying to look uncaring.
“What are you supposed to be then?” He uses it as an excuse to look over you once more.
“You. Duh.” You laugh but it gets cut off when he pulls you in for another kiss.
