On Prism's Parents:
Biological mother is Tiffany "Tiff" Moore, and her "auntie" is Alicia Williams. Yeah, Tiff named Alice after Alicia, which made the latter soooo emotional about it. Alicia is the embodiment of "he a little confused, but he got the spirit." A he/him stud who has a heart of gold and would do anything for his family.
When they first met, Tiff was early on in the pregnancy, so she was hesitant to let any others into her life, especially if they weren't bringing any sort of stability to the table. Not that Alicia was deterred in the slightest!
Tiff: Let's get this out of the way already so you can move along, smooth talker. You don't want to get caught up with me. I'm pregnant.
Alicia: ... Shit, and I'm a virgo. We all got our baggage, girl. 😁
Tiff not knowing what that has to do with anything or how the two correlate at all, but this must be her moronsexual moment because she thought it was charming, and it worked!
Alicia was racing down the halls of the hospital the day Alice was born, jumping up and down and cheering over the fact that they were parents, telling anyone who would listen.
Alice grows up knowing her mama's "friend" stayed with them and poor girl doesn't realize what's actually up until around middle school. She also kicked some kids' asses who wanted to talk shit about Alicia and Tiff. Alice doesn't care about the two of them being together though, just the fact that knowing the truth opened up the door to them being more openly affectionate around her.
Alicia is a bit of a rapper/songwriter but does it for the love of the game, not really into it for money or fame. Instills that intense love of music into Alice.
Also, Alicia definitely indulges Alice when she first wants to dye her hair, but Tiffany is the one who actually does Alice's hair in general.
Overall, they're supportive of Alice to the best of their abilities, but their relationship with her has always been rocky with them trying to raise a superpowered child with little to no outside help. If anything, they're mostly disappointed when her road to stardom also led her onto the "villain's" path and she ended up getting arrested. Alice couldn't bear to face them after feeling like she let them down over and over again, so she's been slowly building those bridges again as she progresses through the Phoenix program with the Z-team.
Oh, yeah, and the thought that originally started all this was that when I mentioned QPR Flambae & Prism and how he would trust Alice with his niece, I wanted Chad to meet Alice's family and it spiraled from there. The rest of the Z-team might meet them in time, but Chad was 100% the first to get introduced to Alicia and Tiff.
How does Grandma feel about Robert's polycule
Many mates = many in-laws and grandkits to spoil. She approves.
