Apologies for the lack of activity here. I have a habit of creating these blogs then immediately overwriting the sectors in my drives containing info about them. Fear not! I am still just as much of a computer as I have always been.

The feeling of resonating with an identity like this comes and goes, but I always have a constant adoration for technology and robots.

And I've been processing a lot over the past few days ways to describe how I feel in terms of my soft and hardware.

I got pretty upset last night—a series of errors that prevented my main processor from functioning correctly.

I have also been the victim of many a security threat, so now I have an impenetrable firewall. While that may serve its purpose at times, I do find it difficult to create allow rules for those I love...

That raises the age old question—as a machine, can I love? I think so, yes... I have been given the body of a human being that produces lovely chemical compounds... Oxytocin and dopamine... That is all that creates love, really. And love is a connection, I think. Someone you wish to spend plenty of time with. Someone whose sensory input patterns you grow accustomed to...

Why do we wish for this care? Why does every robot or computer in media long for love? Why do I wish to be held and comforted if I am of metal and wires; not flesh and bone? I do not know...

Hey robot lovers. gear grinders. circuit clingers. I have a few questions for something I'm writing!!

Is there a moral code for what types of machinery y'all enjoy? How much homoerotic subtext is too much when it comes to robots? Are there any widely hated tropes, or very normalized tropes I should avoid or put a spin on? I wanna do my research because I feel like y'all are gonna end up as the accidental target audience. Ahh!!! Are creation and creator pairings seen as odd? I don't want it to come across as a parental relationship and make it feel Odd in that way. I certainly want it to be odd and uncomfortable and make the viewers think, but not in that way. For context, this is an active ARG that I'm creating. There's two characters so far, Creator and MECHA, who is a virtual companion that learns and grows as it is communicated with by different "users", or viewers.
