Another one of these. I wasn’t particularly happy about already existing matchmaker overhaul mods (I wanted something more... magical than just modern businesswoman, lol) and I stumbled upon Meduza’s conversion of TSM Alchemist outfit and really liked this idea. Also, it kinda works since matchmaker she also sells potions.
I even made a “lore entry”/backstory for her, in case you like this kind of stuff:
The Alchemist
Once powerful and energetic member of The Mage Brotherhood, after having a major disagreement with her colleagues, she was forced to leave for good. Banished and on her own, she found source of income in giving her magical services to common folk. However, after living hundreds of years, magical community started to fade away and people stopped believing in the effectivity of magic. Her services become redundant and she started to struggle to make ends meet.
Immortality became more of a curse than a blessing. Exhausted and broke, she started to perform cheap tricks rather than real magic to her customers. Now she mainly gives matchmaking services, through she still sells some of her potions. Sometimes, her old personality still shows up. From time to time, you can see her sneaking into somebody's backyard and leaving a small gift...

I also take a step further and edited MtT’s/Shasta’s/ Chris Hatch’s name mod to rename her to The Alchemist (or Alchemist Matchmaker in some cases) where I could. Still, in “Call... >Services” menu, she’s still named as in the original. I tried to find its string in the game files to edit it, but I couldn’t.
Dodałam też polskie tłumaczenie do moda MtT. Zastąpiłam “C-gańską swatkę” na Alchemiczkę, Alchemiczkę-Swatkę lub Wróżbikę (ostatnie tylko w kartach kariery, bo “Alchemiczka” nie pasowała do kontekstu).
I also added one resorce to the mod for Love Potion thingie and edited the text.
It’s my 1st attempt to make/edit actual game mods, so please let me know if something is wrong!

effaceg-psy (costume make-up) default replacement: texture made of @digisims2‘s XOD Eyebag Rcs and @mouseyblue’s Superlashes (short brown). Should look fine on any skin color.
NOTE: I actually kept original naming of the DFR files. I did that so people downloading my defaults can easily navigate those files in case of potential conflicts. Sorry about that. If you’re not comfortable with that, you can rename the files as you like.
Recently my playstyle has been becoming more relaxed, focusing on taking things more slowly, and the default lifespans of Sims and pets doesn’t really work with that so I figured I’d adjust everything.
Since by default university in the game lasts 3 days per semester and 6 days per year (if you don’t count breaks), I used this as the basis for changing the length of everything.
There are three mods: one to change the lifespan and aging of Sims, one for pets, and one to adjust the length of pregnancy, all based around 6 days equaling a year.
Note: I made the “hour of processing” the ages to be 7am instead of 6pm, and reduced the chance of twins to 5% instead of 10%.
Sim Aging
Baby: 6 days (ages 0-1)
Toddler: 24 days (ages 1 - 5)
Child: 48 days (ages 5 - 13)
Teenager: 54 days (ages 13 - 22, since you can send teens to college early)
Adult: 228 days (ages 22 - 60)
Elder: 30 - 150 days (varies by aspiraton level, but 85 years old is the max, which I feel is realistic)

Pet Aging
Small Dogs & Cats
Baby: 6 days (most cats/dogs are considered adults at about 1 year of age, so I went with that as a basis)
Adult: 60 days (around age 11 or so is considered elderly)
Elder: 12 - 36 days (random)
Large Dogs
Baby: 6 days
Adult: 42 days (larger dogs are considered elderly at an earlier age)
Elder: 12 - 24 days (since larger dogs have a shorter life expectancy)

Pregnancy Length
Makes pregnancy last 4.5 days to match with the longer lifespans. Total length is 110 hours, since pregnancy is a bit longer than 9 months in real life.
