ABOUT ME :
heya there, everyone! i’m luka, 23, he/they, GMT+8 timezone. i recently graduated with a major in psychology so i have a lot of free time in my hands right now (subject to change) and would like to dedicate it to the most committed and longterm hobby i love : writing / roleplay! ˃ 𖥦 ˂
i only got back into roleplaying and writing consistently just this year. i’ve been in writing spaces the whole while i wasn’t actively writing myself, but i figured it was the right time to come back to it.
i’d like to connect with other roleplayers / writers who are just as passionate for their muses and craft! i’d prefer if you were active OOC, not necessarily expecting rapidfire for the IC rp itself, though. i don’t claim to be a great writer, but i’m looking to improve and write stories i can actually find myself growing as a writer. and to be self-indulgent, of course! ₍₍⚞(˶˃ ꒳ ˂˶)⚟⁾⁾

ROLEPLAY RULES :
18+ roleplayers only, no minors at all. 21+ preferred, but as long as you’re an adult, it’ll be fine.
i’m looking to roleplay both longterm and short-term CCxCC and OCxOC threads! i prefer to write queer relationships such as MxM, FxF, NBxNB, T4T, or variations of those. i only do MxF and OCxCC if it’s really my preference!
i usually write 500-2k words per reply. i mostly write in 3rd person POV present tense, however i can accommodate past tense if needed. no first person POVs.
be semi-lit, literate, or advanced lit, with decent and comprehensible grammar and punctuation. i don’t do one-liners. i’m open to text thread rps, that’s the most i can do that’s close to one-liners. i prefer to receive replies in descriptive multi-paragraphs. my replies are always multi-paragraph so i’d like that same length to be mirrored at the very least. your word count doesn’t matter as i prefer quality over quantity. i just ask for you please put substance in your reply, such as details that i can reply to, and that it actually advances the story and doesn’t simply serve as a filler for the most part. i also really like reading about a character’s inner monologue, so there’s that.
i only roleplay in discord private servers. i also use tupperbox, but we can choose not to use it.
i’m open to doubling and multi-muse, however we must thoroughly discuss it first, since equality and collaborative writing cannot be achieved if both sides aren’t happy or contented with the characters and roles we’re supposed to roleplay.
if we ever do nsfw, i’d prefer them to be vers / switches, unless stated otherwise. just to preface, i am not confident and comfortable writing a dom top, so i will NOT roleplay against characters who are purely sub bottoms. i’d be more open to a variation of those, such as power bottoms or sub tops. pwp and purely smutfishing rps are welcome but under discretion. i can also discuss kinks to be used in the rp.
our rp can include no nsfw and no romance as well. i very much encourage platonic, familial, and queerplatonic relationships.
that being said, i’m open to explore almost anything and everything, but please bring it up to me first. i don’t guarantee that i will immediately agree, but i will at least consider it and see if it’s something i can do. the more unique, the better!
if we’re not doing rapidfire, please do not be impatient. do not pressure / rush me to reply. the most i can probably do in a week is one reply, and that’s even pushing it. if i haven’t responded with my rp reply yet in more than a week, feel free to ping me or send a gentle nudge as a reminder, this can be whenever as well. i will respect your time and space as well as long as you respect mine. i’m also writing with other rp partners and tackling multiple rp threads at the same time. also, timezones exist and i also have my mental health to consider, so reply times will greatly vary in general.
it personally doesn’t matter to me what timezone my roleplay partner is in, as long as we’re able to communicate at a set time whenever we’re free once in a while. take all the time you need, no pressure at all.
i’m not able to immerse myself in the rp if we don’t interact ooc. i’m hoping to at least be able to actively talk to you ooc / be friends outside of roleplaying to keep it engaging and interesting. that doesn’t necessarily mean we need to talk almost everyday, just that we can keep the flow going so we don’t get burnt out or lose interest. we can brainstorm plotlines or headcanons, create spotify playlists, share pinterest boards, or share art of the ship we’re roleplaying characters of.
if you lose interest or simply do not wish to continue the rp, i understand if you don’t want to verbalize that or find it hard to communicate. if you want to take a break but don’t want to end the rp, then feel free to come back anytime. but please, just please, don’t take advantage of this fact and suddenly ghost / unfriend me / block me especially if we have already built up a conversation or plotted to an extent.
i might have stated that i want to improve my writing, but that is in no way an invitation for you to judge or give out advice to me in a rude manner. i appreciate constructive criticism, but please be careful with your wording and tone.
please don’t be discouraged from writing with me, i’m pretty chill! roleplaying is supposed to only be a fun hobby, after all. i just want to find other great writers i can learn from, so this is mostly a challenge and learning curve for myself. i am in no way qualified to judge how you roleplay, your literacy levels and writing preferences. if we’re not a good match, i’ll say so and hope you don’t get offended! i also won’t get offended if i don’t meet your standards.
ABOUT CCxCC PREFERENCES :
i’d like to focus on writing roleplays based on the canon universe setting of a fandom instead of aus (such as modern aus). this is a personal preference of mine and most of the fandoms i’m in already have interesting world-building set-ups i’d love to explore more.
it would also be interesting to incorporate other aus into a canon universe such as omegaverse, dystopia, apocalypse, guideverse, pistilverse, etc, as long as it doesn’t take over the canon setting too entirely.
i’m very much into rarepairs with any of my muses. i’m also flexible with whoever i muse, even, as i also like trying new characters out but this might not always be the case. if you’d like to try out a ship, ask me about it. you can also ask me about a ship in a fandom that also isn’t listed. i’m also very open to polyships and multiships which is the same for OCxOC ships!
i take how i write and portray a certain character or muse seriously, meaning i don’t want to be too OOC in writing. please feel very free to brainstorm with me about how you want me to write them according to your preferences, or feel free to correct me if you think i have written a character wrongly.

ABOUT OCxOC PREFERENCES :
as for rp with OCs, i prefer fandomless, since i really want to get into world-building, fleshing out our characters, and creating rich lore in general. however, if we wanted to, we can chuck them in into an existing fandom, or choose to be inspired from any fandom.
genres i write the most are horror, dark romance, mystery, thriller, fantasy. very much open to learn and explore other genres as well.
tropes / concepts i’d be open to the most are fix-it, slice of life, found family, soulmates, angst / whump, fluff, hurt / comfort, hurt / no comfort, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, forbidden romance, fake relationship, codependency, and many more!
i can do problematic / dark / dead dove content as well as toxic / doomed dynamics, as long as we compromise and discuss about it properly and safely. what are typically considered as unsettling and disturbing themes will probably be something i’d be open to exploring, so if there’s a theme about this that you’ve always wanted to write, then please don’t be shy to ask. i can clarify more about this in dms. let’s be aware of each other’s triggers and boundaries. in general, i have little to no triggers, yet i may have some boundaries / limits, depending on your own as well.
animanga, drawn, or picrew faceclaims preferred. i have nothing against realistic or irl faceclaims, but i don’t prefer using them / i don’t get a high muse for characters with faceclaims like those, but i can be convinced with a good plot. a brief written description, any website with character customization options, or pinterest boards of how the character’s overall vibes can suffice, if you don’t want to use anime / drawn faceclaims.
do bear in mind that this is a new development for me. it was only recently when i decided i wanted to write this particular type of roleplay, so i don’t have much pre-established ocs. it’s more than likely i would create an oc on the spot to compliment yours. i also don’t have much experience with roleplaying an OC of mine or with OCs in general just yet, so if that’s a dealbreaker, i completely understand!
i can write a pre-existing oc of yours if you wanted me to, keeping the option open! just make sure you can at least provide me some information about them as i don’t want to make them too OOC, and establish all the specifics regarding the setting, the character i will write them against, and other significant details i can use in writing.
lastly, i’d like to get to know what you are like as a rp partner and what your preferences in roleplaying are first even if it’s just for a short while. i want to see if we can be compatible for roleplaying so we should start in tumblr dms first, and if we’ve established the rules, boundaries, limits, and such, we can move to discord already to plot and brainstorm ideas.
