Thought I’d compile and show the differences shown in the original and the Special Edition & Vergil DLC versions of Devil May Cry V. Even give my thoughts and point out those differences. This is part 2 of 2 (Here’s the previous). 1 and 2. As you can see in the Vergil DLC and Special Edition compared to the original, Vergil has some extra dialogue. 3. *May be hard to read or see, I apologize. May have to download or click the image* In the original, the battle's cut shorter with no extra scenes or dialogue. While in the Vergil DLC and Special Edition just before Dante goes to lunge himself at Vergil with his sword while Vergil blocks it, there's more to the fight with extra moves and dialogue. 4. In the original, Dante goes to perform the stinger move on Vergil before Vergil blocks it with his Yamato. In the Vergil DLC and Special Edition, Dante does a different move while having some extra dialogue implemented (I also like that face expression he makes there). 5. In the original, we see Dante's sword aimed a certain way and he's standing as Vergil is crouched from being pushed back. In the Vergil DLC and Special Edition, we have different lighting, a different positioning of Dante's sword, and Dante's crouched this time. 6. In the original, we see Dante doing certain gestures and facial expressions. In the Vergil DLC and Special Edition, we see Dante doing a different gesture and has more expressions happening with his face. 7. In the original, Vergil stays crouched while arguing with Dante about counting. In the Vergil DLC and Special Edition, Vergil's got some different things happening with his face, plus he stands up as he argues with Dante about counting. 8. In the original, Vergil tells Dante not to say the line as he goes to swing his sword. In Special Edition and the Vergil DLC, Vergil tells Dante not to say the line in a more quieter tone, plus there's a bit of a pause. 9. I'd really like to know WTF happened with Dante's smile in Special Edition and the Vergil DLC as he says that line...It's as if they've decided to scrap using facial mo-caps and just tried animating themselves. I understand they were on a budget and all that, but you'd think they'd keep the original animations.
Ink(thirst)tober Day 12 "Slippery"
So l decided to make my inktober prompt of 2020 all about the characters l thirst for XD l'm so behind with this year's lnktober, but l'll make through them all, if any for myself T^T
So DMC V SE got me thinking...
Nero: Fa- (shit, this is hard) Father, um... I wanted to ask you something
Vergil: ! (Oh no, he is going to ask me something human, isn’t he? I haven’t still learned that many human emotions. What should I do?!) Nero: Um...? Vergil: (There’s no other way...) *stabs himself with the Yamato* Nero: What are you doing?! V: *appears* So, what did you want, son? Nero: ... This is so weird on so many levels
Goodnight Light imagaY
Dante will totally freak out. I mean...wouldn't you!?
Still, give the man a minute! 🤣🤣
