I don’t know why I made this
My character got stuck in a cave-in with one of her party members, and the DM asked me if I wanted to make some underground monsters for us to run into. Of course my first thought was of the cave crawlers from the Aurora Comic. (I also made a second monster called the BFW (Big Fucking Worm).)
**This isn't meant to be a 100% recreation. Just vaguely inspired by them and their vibes. (and of course, it needs to actually be mechanically functional in dnd 5e, and also feasible for two level 8 characters to fight on their own.)
Also, bonus from the (extremely WIP) GM Binder doc where I will (eventually) be releasing all my homebrew monsters:
(I'm a menace and I need to be stopped. This is the same person (me) who named one of Rook's abilities "Mist-direction" yesterday.)
Fearsome Foes - Mimic Tower
It’s a really good thing mimics don’t get building sized, that would be a nightmare! They don’t get building-sized right? With the rumors floating around lately, you’re not so sure. But that’s crazy, it’s probably just wizards.
Enter: The Mimic Tower! Meant to be the centerpiece of a one-shot or other such short adventure, if you need something shorter to throw at your players between plot beats, this is the monster for you! Included are the titular monster, along with supporting monsters, a bite-sized adventure, and magic items!
Aatrox 5e
I’ve, for better or worse, undertaken the goal of converting all League of Legends champions into DND 5e NPCs, creatures, monsters, etc, working in alphabetical order. What follows is a link to my DnD Beyond stats for Aatrox, the Darkin Blade.
Ancient Ascended. Aatrox has advantage on saving throws to resist spells and other magical effects. His attacks are considered magical fo...
Here I will provide the template I based my stats off of, as I am still learning how to stat creatures and struggling to find a coherent approach to what is considered a balanced statblock. I am fantastic innovator, but terrible inventor.
And the last link will be to Aatrox's lore page, so you can read up the history of the character as well as related characters and short stories written by the Riot crew. They may not be perfect at balancing their game, but their world and characters are interesting!
the Darkin Blade
This is definitely what I would consider a late game threat, and possibly your BBEG for your campaign, as I figure most of these LoL champions will be (they ARE legendary, after all). But this guy has the perfect formula: Ancient evil sealed away by a long-forgotten civilization newly awoken to end the world as we know it? Sounds like a main villain if you ask me.
Some thief accidentally picks up the Darkin Blade and is consumed by Aatrox, gains a following that hates the current authority and sees Aatrox as a force to tear down that authority, maybe not realizing this creature actually wants everything to be destroyed, and it isn't just rhetoric and metaphor. Leaving devastated cities in his wake when he attacks, scarring the world and never resting until the whole world burns.
But perhaps if there was a way to free Aatrox from the sword, or maybe even redeem his original angelic self, who knows what could happen?
A large village on the edge of the coast has fallen into grave danger. Their chieftain Tyrog the Bear has turned his back from the gods they once worshipped and brought upon them a deadly plague. People are going missing from the village, each night they are called away by the ocean only to wash up dead the next day. The villagers have tried running, but they are quickly struck down by Tyrog.
The villager’s problems all started when Tyrog lost his sons in a terrible storm. He vowed never again to bow to the whims of those who would take everything from him. So, he destroyed the temples and burned the priests. Anyone caught honoring the gods of the ocean are dealt with mercilessly.
However, Tyrog’s rage against the gods is unfounded. His sons weren’t killed by the gods, but by a deadly siren. Tyrog’s sons had set off to make a name for themselves and murdered a coven of sirens, staining the sea red with their blood. Lilith, their leader, came home to find her family murdered. In her rage, she set upon the sailors and sent them to their watery graves.
The deaths of Tyrog’s sons didn’t satisfy Lilith, so she set her eyes on their home. Intent on making every villager feel the pain she felt when everyone she loved was taken from her.
Now each night men and women are drawn to the ocean, all crying out desperately for the woman of the sea who calls to them. The villagers are desperate and Tyrog is too lost in his grief to see what is happening around him.
Who is the true villain of this story? How can the villagers be saved? How can this madness be stopped?

FFXIV: Lightwarden Titania (Built for DnD 5e)
“Come and play! For the night is bright, and you can sleep when you’re dead!” -Titania
Once the powerful and aethereal King of the Faeries, Titania is no ordinary Lightwarden. The name Titania itself is a title, passed on to the next King. Long ago, when a Lightwarden descended into the faerie kingdom of Il Mehg, Titania slew the beast. The Light from the Lightwarden infected them, turning the King of the Faeries into a Lightwarden themself, only able to retain their form and some personality due to their strong will. Locked away in their castle by their subjects, it is up to you to slay Titania once and for all. Be warned- there is always a King, so when the deed is done, someone must step up and mantle the title Titania themselves.
Emu stat block
I was working hard last night trying to figure out Doug and Grisrot last night and in the process I forgot to upload anything. So today I’m sharing those statblocks and some other ones I made prior with y’all! I hope you enjoy!
(All of this stuff is for DND 5e)
