I think it’s actually partly thanks to those who brought pride flags to m&g that dnp realised how queer their audience was and finally felt comfortable enough to come out so yeah

that's what i'm saying. Dan said he was worried about not being accepted by the community, i know he meant lgbtq+ community as a whole and i bet having the audience the majority of which is a part of the community helped a lot. we all are so fucking different, each with their own story and still we all accept one another. all those flags showed that we are ready and we won't judge or (i don't even wanna say that) reject him. we're here for him. we're here for them both. we protecc not attacc.

Tbh I’ve always thought it was dan. Lion used to emo tweet a lot and say thing that were also true for dan (for exemple theres a tweet where lion talks about his dad the same way dan would talk about his back then) but there’s no way to know for sure i guess

oooooh interesting! i know a few of the tweets looked like they had to be dan tweets but i can’t remember which ones they were or what they said lol oops. i do really love the theory that they both tweeted from there tho, kinda like a secret account where they could say stuff they wouldn’t normally say on main 🥺🥺🥺

I don’t even think it has anything to do with his relationship with his fans tbh, he was just getting stuff out on twitter which he’s allowed to do. feeling worthless happens to all kind of people, including successful celebrities and even if this feeling doesn’t have a rational basis especially when one suffers from depression. If I told someone that I felt worthless and unimportant and they replied that I was trying to manipulate them and make them feel guilty I think I would probably cry.

Oh 100% to all of this! Like we don’t know why Dan felt this way or if there even was a reasoning behind it. But I think the best thing we can do is just show our support to him if he is having a rough time.

I always think of a quote I saw a long time ago that said, “if someone says they’re upset, you don’t get to decide that that they aren’t”. And I think that applies here. If Dan is saying that he’s going through a rough time, we don’t get to say he’s not for the sake of just continuing to hate.

Like you said, if I was telling someone “hey, I’m feeling this type of way” and people were calling me manipulative, I’d legit never want to speak again and that would be harmful for not only myself, by others as well.
