me when jason canonically goes out of his way to befriend and defend unpopular kids and characters who are looked down on by others but people mischaracterize him as a preppy popular too-cool-for-you kid

the fact that jason hugs ppl when he’s excited is never not important to me. he hugged percy when he got out of tartarus, and he hugged nico when he said he wasn’t leaving camp. he loves hugs!!!

I loveeee bi jason & valgrace & whatnot, it's all good and fun, but I unfortunately think the idea of jason just being a massive ally is infinitely funnier. he's friends with some of the gayest people on the PLANET (nico, piper, leo) and he's just there. he listens to hot to go while on his morning run. he has a pride flag hanging in his room. he will jump on ANY homophobe the first chance he gets and beat them until they change their ways. he will bite anyone who says anythng bad about his best friend nico di angelo. he organizes pride events for the camps. he listens to girl in red and thinks about girls. he's nico's wingman and helps solangelo get together. he has pamphlets about gender identities in his room. he knows what neopronouns are and how to use them. and he's just.. some straight guy.

jason's probably the funniest ally in the history of allies. he doesn't like nico much at all, and is totally creeped out by the guy, to the point where when they have to go somewhere alone, jason's pretty nervous.

and then nico gets outed.

all of a sudden jason does a COMPLETE 180 and is super supportive of nico, during the quest but also when they get back to camp half blood. he tries to convince nico to stay at chb after the quest, and totally has his back. the switch up is so funny ToT

god I love situations where charcters are stuck speaking different languages it's SO fun. thinking of the seven + 2 getting into something or another that makes it so they can only speak & understand their first languages. percy, annabeth, piper, and frank are all speaking english, leo and reyna are speakin spanish, hazel's speaking french/louisiana creole (shoutout louisiania french), and jason's stuck with latin.

naturally, chaos ensues

if jason was a girl in TLH I’d be curious to see who hera paired ‘em with, because the implications either way would be funny as hell

if jason was paired with leo, then it’s implied that hera is the #1 straightship fan on the planet

and if jason was paired with piper, then it’s implied that it’s imperative to hera’s plan that leo does NOT get bitches
