Why haven't I rewatched this show sooner. I forgot how cute and gentle the BL as well as the show in general is. Does it have its flaws? Sure. The comedy doesn't always work and the cases are predictable but I adore this show for the interactions, the found family (honestly Dong Er being miserable because Sui Zhou is being pestered by Yu Xulian and not wanting him to marry her (Sui Zhou not looking happy at all either) and Tang Fan also being upset by the idea...lovely), the weird polycule going on with Wang Zhi (honestly the best character in the show - sneaky, shady bastard who has his moments), the great sidekicks, the great fight choreography by Jackie Chan...yeah.

It is really the most gentle BL and I am totally fine with it.
