Summary: DK just can't stand Mario, but he’ll work with the guy when he has to. The latest antagonist against the duo lands the boys in the arena. Stakes get high when a poison-tipped arrow amplifies DK’s emotions and turns the begrudging ally into a deadly weapon.

So I kept on remembering the "Super Mario Twilight" joke from SMG4 and thought it would be funny to draw it, I have 2 more "posters" to make (Ik there's 5 movies therefore I should be doing all 5 instead of only 4 but one of them is just the trio standing idly staring at the viewers)

(Though I can't help but hope to come across one of such that instead of usual posessive/instant change of behaviour route will go DK: "What? You are my soulmate?! You are an ugly hairless human I don't like you! And you're stupid" Mario: "You are stupid! You think I am happy with this?!" And they are in a constant bickering and make fun of each other while Bowuigis go: Bowser: "...This can't be true, I absolutely do not accept not a royal blood to be my soulmate." Luigi:"That's a... yes I agree since, you are bigger... and scarier... and non-humanlier of what I-a expected of my soulmate" Bowser:"You think I am big and scary? He-he, as you should, he-he" And it's a constant back and forth of "I don't want to work with you but dammit you read my mind so well, we work so good together!" "You absolutely are not what I expected you to be and I don't want to have nothing in common with you but I love the way you think")

I’ve been reading some soulmate stuff and I’ve been thinking about the hilarious implications of Mario having two soulmates

Mario: so what you’re telling me is that I have a sentence on both of my arms, I have TWO soulmates?

Peach: correct, albeit rare it’s not looked down upon here so you don’t have to worry about me being jealous or anything.

Mario: I do hope my second soulmate is a guy, so you could be the only woman in my life.

Peach: (as soon as all of this is over I am going rock his 5’3 world)

Luigi: so the two sentences on your arms means that you have TWO soulmates???

Mario: apparently! But it seems like you have two soulmates as well!

Luigi: might be because we’re twins! But this second one is very weird, i can’t get a read on what kind of person my other soulmate is.

DK: well, what does it say?

Luigi: “tonight, you die, on this ass.”

decided I’m going to play through a whole bunch of the Mario games because I’ve watched the movie like 5 times and now I think bowser and luigi, and mario and DK should kiss.
