When you're tired, it's always good to get a little rest, let your muscles rest a little before the next wave. - But don't stop! You don't stop when you feel a little burn in your muscles, when a weight gets a little heavy, or when you feel tired. You stop when you're done. - It's all about discipline. A lot of people have programmed themselves to stop at the first, and smallest, signs of tiredness creep up. But this decision to stop or go is what separates the successful to the dreamers. - 'The wall' does not exist in the physical plane. It's all mental. It's what you want to do. It's the barrier in your brain that stops you from achieving. Your job is to keep going, do NOT stop. - You have 5 miles to go. - You have another 2 sets of your 100kg deadlift. - You have 10 more minutes to go. - You have so much more in your tank than you realise. - Just remember one thing: don't overdo it! Learn to listen to your body. Listen to what it tells you. It's #LEGDAY!! I have a love/hate relationship with leg day. I groan when it comes up on my #workout schedule, but I feel SO GOOD once it's done! ... And then I groan some more when I sit down to pee or climb the stairs the next couple of days, haha!! . But what I love about it most is that that muscle pain means that I worked HARD! It means that I've put in the work. I've overcome my excuses. I've come one workout closer to my health goals. So in the end LOVE WINS in that little love/hate battle on leg day. There are WAY MORE things I love about it than I hate about it - that's why I push through and keep doing it! . This video is a time lapse of the first half of my workout this morning.
