Doom Gender AU

Chinese Doomgal, butch lesbian.

Built like a truck, a weightlifter type. Fat face and fat trunk. Perhaps she was an athlete in high school?

Her ancestors fought against Imperial Japan. Political infighting after the war meant they moved to Southeast Asia.

Pure heart, unshakeable morals. Bums off on UAC company time cause they're an evil corporation of course.

She never felt she was quite like other women, and in a slightly different timeline would be a dude or a he/him lesbian.

She has a western name, Joan Dark. I am thinking her surname is An or Yang.

She married a they/them lesbian, who had a kid either from a previous relationship or sperm donor assist.

Her rabbit's name is 小菊.

With that pure heart she was willing to give up her happiness to battle demons for all of eternity.

When she is whisked away to Argent D'Nur by Samur Maykr, she finds herself at home because Argenta don't expect her to be ladylike and nobody sexually harasses her or thinks less of her opinions for being a woman.

The Night Sentinels bake her pizzas and serve sausages like she describes hotdogs because she misses Earth food. They make dumplings and steamed grains using what they have. It's not quite the same, but it's the thought that count.

(what if Argent D'Nur is all dudes. What if she is very confused when they think she's just a weird looking dude. Samur has to explain the strangeness of this planet.)

Samur Maykr is totally in love with her of course. Maykrs present themselves as needed to deal with other beings, so Samur is a girl angel to Joan.

"My wife, my beautiful wife" the angel waxes poetic, watching Joan rip demons from limb to limb.
