Does he remind you of anyone? There’s an NCIS marathon on tv today and I’m watching for the 100th time. The episode Mind Games (2005), not one of my favorites, was on. The story is about a serial killer who has tortured, mutilated and murdered over 20 women. He is scheduled to be executed in the electric chair in a few days and wants to talk to Gibbs one more time and get his sentence changed to life in prison. He’s an incredibly CREEPY person, BUT for the first time I noticed what I think is a startling resemblance to another actor. The man above is Christopher Shyer, a Canadian actor who has appeared in several series as well as doing guest appearances on many U.S. television shows. Early in the show it HIT ME. Shyer reminded me of BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. Is it “just me” or does anyone else out there see the striking resemblance?

I’ve been told quite a few times that I look a little bit like an older version of Eleven from Stranger Things. Thoughts?
Weird Experience
So many complete strangers stare at me quizzically before coming up and desperately trying to figure out where they know me from. I can tell they are honestly baffled and are sure I am familiar to them. It doesn’t matter how many questions they ask, we’ve never met. I can’t tell if I just have that kind of presence or if I just have a doppel running around.
Late Night Call
Kit-Kat submitted: Okay, so let me start off by saying this happened to me a few months ago and I have yet to find an answer to it. I’ll admit that it’s very hard to scare me, since I love paranormal and constantly look up stuff about it, but what happened really just… I don’t know; it freaked me the hell out. I’m not quite sure if this story fits under your categories, but keep in mind, this is 100% true.
So, one night I was on the phone with my long-distance boyfriend like I usually am, talking and maybe playing some video games. It was getting pretty late and I had school in the morning, so we said our ‘loves you’s and goodbyes, then hung up.
I was awoken by the sound of my phone vibrating later in the night. I checked the caller ID and it said ‘Danny’, my boyfriend’s name. I was not phased by this, as he has bipolar disorder and when he doesn’t take his medication he ends up staying up very late, which usually results in him calling me because he misses me or something of the sort.
With that in mind, I picked up the phone and groggily said, “Hello?”
What I heard on the other end of the line was loud, hysterical sobbing and my boyfriend constantly repeating the same line: “I can’t do it anymore, Katherine. I just can’t do it anymore.” I was confounded by this and was really concerned for him so I kept asking what was wrong and trying in vain to calm him down. It was like he didn’t hear anything I said, because he just sobbing, “I can’t do it anymore.” like before. This continued for a good ten seconds until he abruptly hung up.
Once my sleepy mind registered what had just happened, I immediately called him back not even a minute later. I was not only worried for him, but also very disturbed by this call. It wasn’t unusual for him to call me in such a condition because he can be a very unhappy person, especially when he gets into fights with his mother or brother, and I’m always the first person he’ll call when he needs comfort, but this time was definitely… different.
When he finally picked up, a calm, albeit very drowsy, Daniel slowly drawled out, “Katherine? Why are you calling this late?” His voice was completely void of any previous sadness; no sobbing, no stuffiness; nothing. As you could imagine, this realization only further alarmed me since it seemed very unlikely that a person could be bawling his or her eyes out like he was then literally a minute later sound like nothing had happened.
Frantically, I explained to him what happened and demanded an answer. His voice held utter bewilderment as he told me that he had gone asleep a few hours ago and was just now woken up by my call. By now my heart was beating erratically in my chest and I angrily told him that this had better be one of the numerous pranks he liked to pull on me, because this time it really wasn’tfunny. He swore to me that he was telling the truth and he had not called me, then suggested that I was overly-tired and probably imagining things.
Desperate for some kind of peace of mind, I believed him and went back to sleep — with my phone on silent. When I woke up in the morning, I remembered what had happened earlier and checked my phone log. I can’t remember the exact date, but I’ll never forget the times: Received, Danny, 4:01AM. Dialed, Danny, 4:02AM. In other words, that call did happen.
My boyfriend has sworn to me countless times that he never did it. He has admitted all his pranks to me before, normally a few minutes after he pulls them; confessing that he was just trying to tease me or whatever, but this is the only one he adamantly refuses he never did. Whether it was a joke my boyfriend actually did pull or something that I just can’t explain, that experience was one of the few things that really did scare the life out of me. Fuck Yeah Nightmares Mod Fey: Stories like these really give me chills. It seems so simple but it's something I can vividly imagine happening. 8/10 for scares and thank you for sharing!
Can you see the difference?
My edit.
