Our Queen
We met her in the Salt Mines of Endovier as Celaena Sardothien, Adarlan’s Assassin.
We watched her fight and become the king’s champion.
“Terrasen’s heir is alive.” “The Queen is alive.” They said and little did we know the heir was her.
To Wendlyn she sailed. Lost and hurt yet she trained with the brute that later she found out was her mate.
Back in Rifthold she saved her cousin, almost killed her friend and argued with her ex lover. She avenged her first love and Celaena Sardothien was no more.
Later she saved her best friend from the Valg Prince and together they defeated the King with no name. The throne of glass was gone and at last Aelin Ashryver Galathynius and her court returned home.
As a child she had died and Elena gave her a second chance just for her to die again. At last she understood, Nameless is my price.
With tears in her eyes she said her last words and shirtless bowed in front of Maeve for Cairn to whip her. Her body shaking with the memories of past pain, Cairn began and she refused to count. The crack of the whip hitting her skin again and again and again until the pain was so strong that she finally screamed, but still refused to count.
They put her in an iron box, chained her with iron, and put an iron mask over her face. For two months and three days she was tortured but information about Terrasen and the wyrdkeys she never gave away.
With the help of Fenrys she escaped. “TAKE IT OFF!” She yelled over and over again. One blink. Two blinks. Three blinks. Four blinks. Five blinks. Six blinks. No words could she speak.
A badass on the outside, broken on the inside but, oh! How strong was the Fire Queen.
Her friends ran for their lives on Farasha’s back and with her fire she stopped the dam.
The King and Queen opened the wyrdgate with such powerful pain. The Queen turned to her friend and with tears sliding down her face she said, “One of us has to rule.” Then pushed him away and two nameless payed the price.
A gift from Mala for fighting for her daughter. A kernel of power so she could go back home. “To a better world.” Were the goddess’ last words before Terrasen’s Queen sent the gods to the dark world.
She survived the wyrdkeys, but a sacrifice was made. Her human side was forever gone. Finally, Celaena Sardothien returned home to Sam Cortlan.
There was no more fire in her veins and yet she stood in front Erawan and Maeve. “I am a god.” She said and unleashed herself upon them.
With the help of her friends the Valg were defeated.
Erilea was freed.
Finally Aelin Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius was crowned Queen of Terrasen and The Faerie Queen of the West.
She said goodbye to her friends.
Watched them walk away.
After months of hard work everything went back to normal and one morning as our Queen looked out her balcony she wept in joy for across every mountain, spread beneath the green canopy of Oakwald, carpeting the entire Plain of Theralis, the kingsflame bloomed.
