I don't know if I should consider this a double mutated au because they're just in a spell until they found a way to reverse it.

So the disaster twins are just cat dragons.

Design concept for Part Two of Beast Mode! I've been holding onto this since July. c': It's been about a week since Part Two was posted, so I figured it would be okay to share this now.

If you noticed in the tags and/or have seen the poster for Part Two, it's fairly obvious that this is a double mutation story. So here is my design for Donnie after his transformation into the beast!

Excerpt from Part Two:

"It looked like a monitor lizard-turtle hybrid, lithe and muscular, with a long neck and an even longer, thick tail that looked like it could take someone out if it lashed out fast enough. Its scaly skin was a darker striped green with rough dark purple scales in spots. The scutes on the shell overlapped now, curling up at the ends into jagged points. It didn't look as rigid as a turtle shell, expanding and shrinking as it breathed, but no doubt still provided a significant amount of protection. The talons on its feet looked deadly, dark and hooked and razor sharp. And to top it all off, it was massive, much bigger than Raph if he were to be on all fours like that."

Lately I've been watching a lot of Monster Don AUs in different versions of the series, and you know what? I want to be popular too… or at least put a little grain of sand on this beach.

I tried to make it scary. I hope Monster Don's design (or what little can be seen of it) is scary, or at least gives off some kind of unsettling feeling. Dude, sea turtle mouths are really creepy, so I tried to base it on that a bit, even though the diamondback was always in my head. Anyway, let's just say it's a combination; just looking like a reptile is enough.

Oh man, Mikey, my boy, you should have gone to bed earlier. Maybe that way you wouldn't have run into this version of your loving, intelligent brother ::::w:::
