Part two because tumblr can only hold up 10 photos. One thing I was surprised about was how many people actually recognized me. Arrietty was overshadowed by ghibli's other films, but I had two heartwarming experiences.

The first was a Chinese woman who was very excited about my cosplay. English was her second language so she wasn't sure what the name of the movie was called in America. Of course we took photos. Thought it was a really nice moment.

Second was a young girl no older than five dressed up as Elsa. As I'm walking with my friends, I here her mom go "look it's Arrietty!" Then little Elsa walks up to me and asks to take a picture. She also asked to hold my sword. After a couple pictures, I asked if she wanted to hold my sugar cube. And she was really excited. Very cute moment.

It's things like this that make comic con really great. Get to meet creative people who come together for the fandoms they love. It's also really nice to see characters that aren't from big franchises in the flesh for one day. :)
