I’ve finally started work on my dphs AU! :D I decided to host it on mspfa, since it best fits the format I’m going for (and arrow key navigation, i love it so much). I’ll use suggestions as prompts, whether in mspfa comments or as replies on my update posts.

On Today's Walkout

We made signs for each of the 17 victims of the Marjory Stoneman douglas attack in Parkland, and released 17 balloons, one by one, for each of them. We held hands and stood in silence, and some of us read testimonies about the victims.

What started as 6 rebels in a physics class making waves developed into this amazing sense unity. We were some of the fortunate ones, because when admin heard, they decided to help is out. It was a student organized, student led protest, and no one was attacking us for our right to speak. Students from all walks of life - from our star athletes to the piano geeks, to the hardcore nerds - we were ALL there. There was no talks of parties, no difference between the freshman and the senior. We were one.

And it is terrible that it took something this tragic to bring is together. This awe inspiring love is something that should be felt every day, in every heart. But good can come from this. We are the generation of change.
