wait do most people really not know Echo Zane was born of an animation error?

back in the original season 2 one of the animators had left Zane‘s Model from the flashback in „Tick Tock“ in the Lighthouse with Dr Julien, which was later canonized as having been an early version of Echo

Okay, I'll try to go in order.

Technically, Zane does have DNA.

Dr. Julien would be the kind of person to consider every possibility, like giving him a DNA code based on his own, like his internal fluids resembling the color and texture of blood to some extent, and like Zane being able to produce sperm completely artificially and surprisingly functionally!

Zane never noticed for about 8-9 years that he wasn't 100% human. The man must have patched a lot, and Pixal used those blueprints to reconstruct Zane.Did they know about this? Not at all. Up until that point, they thought it wasn't possible until Kai started feeling sick.

They make her in the traditional way, and Kai was the one who went into labor. (my schrodinger trans Kai headcanon, my beloved.)

So yeah, Nerissa was an unplanned pregnancy, but they love her no matter what. Although Kai was grumpy during the first few months because of the whole thing.

In Ninjago, what if the elemental master of tech before Sora was Dr Julien? Definitely a head canon rather than a theory. It would help to explain how he managed to make robots as lifelike as Zane and Echo Zane despite both times living in the middle of nowhere so it might have been hard to get the right supplies, especially since Ninjago doesn't seem to have had much advanced robotics before Rebooted, let alone when Zane was built.

Also I just like the thought, regardless of Dr Julien being an elemental master or not, that Sora reminds Zane a lot of his father due to their love of technology and kindness to others

If Sora inherited her elemental power at birth shortly after the passing of Dr Julien, the timeline could line up as well since if the ninja were about 16 when he passed away after the final battle, they could be in their late 20s to early 30s by dragons rising while Sora is a teenager. Maybe it was never known that Dr Julian was an elemental master of technology since he wouldn’t have been surrounded by it like Sora is in the modern day merged lands? Maybe no one ever considered there was an elemental master of technology before Sora, not because they didn’t exist, but because technology just wasn’t an integral part of everyday life?
