Ok, I loved the penultimate episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks, especially the guest stars.
But why does Dr. Bashir's voice sound off? Seriously, did anyone else feel like it was a different actor doing Bashir's voice?
For a minute there, I got angry because I thought they had Andrew Robinson come back, but not Alexander Siddig. Then I checked IMDB to see who was doing Bashir's voice, and it is, in fact, Siddig.
So now I'm stuck wondering why his voice sounds off?
In other news, I also loved the inclusion of Alfre Woodard, Jolene Blalock, and Garrett Wang. Especially Alfre Woodard. That was a nice surprise.
Julien Bashir having a foot thing doesn't surprise me, but it does disappoint me
*Bashir and O'Brien are on the holodeck reenacting the battle of the Alamo. The odds are woefully stacked against them* Bashir: Okay, Miles. You take the five hundred on the left, I'll take the five hundred on the right! O'Brien: Screw you, Julian! I'm taking five hundred and one! Bashir: That's the spirit!
Our sources tell us Alexander Siddig is returning to Star Trek in at least two of their series! Here's what we know.
Every time I think the Section 31 series has been sacked there’s some new rumour going around lmao
It true, I’m happy for the Lower Decks cameo! Tho I think Julian Bashir would fit more in the Star Trek: Prodigy series, especially considering the drama of one of the main characters, Dal, a kid who dreams of joining Starfleet but is told he’ll be forbid to do so because he’s an augment.
(Edit from 8 of january of 2022: I posted this on my blog more in a like ‘oh it woud be nice if true’ kind of way but it was already pointed out by other sources that Sid has no Trek projects atm.)
Julian Bashir is snarky in the face of danger
Can we talk about how in "Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges" Julian is straight up a snarky little B#tch to the Head of the Tal Shiar?
The scene plays out like this:
Koval bosses him to sit down, Julian crosses his legs with swagger and looks him straight in the eye
Koval says "Now we will have our private little talk"
Julian then says in the snarkiest way imaginable "What SHALL we talk about?"
Like dude....you are about to have your mind zapped, there are two Tal Shiar guards behind you, the Chairman of the Tal Shiar in front of you and you can't be bothered to be chill..
Snarkers Gotta Snark and I am here for it!
Just another reason why I love that guy ;)
I have returned from the Emerald Isle, so have more upscaled Julian!

When will Dr. Bashir raw me?
