In mid-December I got inspired to write a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie-inspired fic! I thought I would be able to finish it by Christmas but it ended up being a little longer than I first thought it would be, so...I didn’t finish it by Christmas. However: time is fake, so perhaps you will enjoy reading a holiday inspired fic in Janary?

It’s finished (finally) and I’ll aim to post updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until it’s all up.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Prompt: giant stuffed animals! (Bruce/Tony or OT3 of your choice!)💗

This prompt screamed one ship and one ship only.

“Tony.” Pepper sighed, taking in the sight of the living room. “We talked about this.”

“Nuh uh!” The genius popped out from the giant Hulk plushie blocking her entrance to her home, greeting her with a kiss and a wide grin. “You don’t get a say in this because this isn’t for you.”

She frowned, but her lips were inevitably curling into a smile, especially since Tony’s smile softened and he brought out a tiny Iron Man plushie from behind his back.

“That one is for Bruce. This is for you.”

She accepted the tiny gift with a delighted smile and offered him a kiss. She was in a relationship with a crazy man, but a good man.

“Thank you. Happy Valentine’s Day. Where did you lose our fluffy boyfriend?”

“I’m here!”

A muffled voice came from the plushie Hulk, making Pepper blink in confusion for a moment because this was certainly a toy and not… But then a familiar fluffy head popped out from seemingly inside the toy and smiled at her.

“Hello, Pep. Come join me. Tony told me about your stance on huge plushies but this makes for an amazing napping space.” He frowned at the fact she was still in her work attire. “And those heels so not look comfortable.

She chuckled and bit her lip as Tony started climbing up to join Bruce already, sinking into the plush and practically disappearing into it. She stepped out of her shoes with a pleased sigh, taking off her jacket and untucking the shirt before jumping up to join her boys.

As Bruce pulled her close, manhandling her between himself and Tony and warm, soft, green fluff engulfed her, she decided she may need to reconsider her stance on huge plushies. She would let Bruce have them though. Her little Iron Man could fit a lot better on the desk in her office.

"I baked you two a pie."

Pepper put the tray on the workshop table with a smile, pushing aside scattered pieces of circuitry and tools to do so.

Tony frowned, looking at it.

"It's a blueberry pie?"

She nodded happily and tried to glare the Bruce for chipping off crust and munching on it already.

"What did I do?"

Both Pepper and Bruce looked at him weirdly.

"Why are you so nice to me? You sometimes bake and invite Bruce to the kitchen, sure, but blueberry pie is my favourite and you took it all the way down here and it could be for Bruce, but you said it's for us both and I know you love us but like... Only thing I can think of is that I fucked up and you're subtle about it."

Pepper looked at him long and hard before bursting into giggles while Bruce grabbed his hand, tracing comforting circles on Tony's palm and kissing his cheek with blueberry stained lips.

Blueberry was also Bruce's favourite but only since one memorable alien invasion that also marked him meeting his would be lovers.

"You didn't fuck up, Tony. And as much as I may yell at you and get exasperated when you do, I love you, and I don't want you to ever change, okay?"

Tony's smile turned into that sappy gooey expression that was reserved for Pep and Bruce only as she brushed his cheek.

"But..." Pepper's smile turned excited and mischievous. "Tony's right that this is unusual behaviour for me. And I do actually have a reason for the pie. Better sit down, boys."

Tony and Bruce frowned, looking between their stools and her.

"We are sitting down."

"Hold on to each other then. I... I have news."

Tony's eyes drifted to where she had her hands on her stomach, before glancing at Bruce to check if he thought the same.

Bruce had his mouth open in a little adorable "o" and seemed frozen in that expression.

Pepper nodded.

"We'll be having a baby!"

Bruce surprise turned intense.

"You mean you and Tony are having a baby right?"

"Well..." She bit her lip and shrugged.

"Pepper!"

"I'm not sure! You should do some testing. I mean, it is more likely Tony but you never know."

Nine months later, when their little Morgan gave her first scream, beautiful, perfect and green, there was no doubt left.
