Hi yes hello, i just wanted to say i really enjoyed Rearview Mirrors. Really enjoying the flip on Prowl being the mystery, and us figuring out the mystery alongside him. The mystery of Snatcher and Zero, and what the absolute shit was done to him to render him this grey mass of trauma. The constant tangents he goes on inside his own head cause he is all ??? at all times? So fucking tasty.

Can't wait for next chapter, but especially to see the sheer rage induced screaming session Ratchet will need after getting a good look at all the shit that was done to the poor guy. Jazz too will get screamed at, but at this point its a formality, no amount of wrench throwing or shouting will keep this guy from getting hurt in name of saving others.

rearview mirrors is very very much my passion project at the moment, so i deeply appreciate all comments on it especially. it truly means a lot to me, especially seeing as how the whole defection story between either jazz or prowl isn't the most original plot. this isn't to bash on it at all, more me just trying to say that i'm forever grateful people give my own take on it a try. thank you!

as for the specifics: the tangents are some of my favorite things to write, but sometimes they also happen unintentionally LMAO i was very much that kid that was completely silent during hour long car rides, just staring out the window with 12 different things simultaneously going on in my head. i was my own entertainment, 100%.

...which is to say, i tend to be so caught up in my head it reflects in how much internal monologue i tend to write. it just fits with prowl! it's not just projection!! (lying)

and i like writing ratchet as a mix of his marvel comics and idw1 characterization (outwardly sweet and full of worries about being useless hidden underneath dedication and gruffness), but regardless, that fit has definitely been earned! he deserves to be upset!

this is so long orz i get very excited and start doing the most proverbial of back flips whenever i get rearview mirror comments. thank you again for all the kind words!!

Can Quackity make the duck noises to Techno when in his human form? I feel like at first Techno would be Scandalized that Quackity made him think he is back in his duck form, more optimal for cuddling.

I am immensely intrigued and curious about your Cyberpunk Au. Could you tell us more about Ghostbur mayhaps? I have never seen him being made into an AI before and I am just vibrating here from curiosity.

Drug abuse mention, death mention (Wilbur’s) // Wilbur used to be a great fighter. He joined the arena when he was still a young adult because of Eret. To cope with all that, he fell into drugs that are sold secretly in the arena that makes you not feel pain and fear. He became bloodlusted, and Phil was the one to take care of it.

Okay to be fair I haven’t figured out how exactly Dream does it (did he plan this before hand?? I have no idea), but he manages to save his memories and ‘spirit’ (not exactly, more like his personality) into a computer, and transforms him into an AI. 

AIbur is very glitchy. He technically has access to all the files , the recordings of fights, but also of the whole arena itself (lights, door, ventilation etc.), except Dream blocked a lot of those, and he’s also very faulty. He has forgotten a lot during the process, and do not wish to harm himself by rewatching videos of Alivebur.

Dream tried to “revive” him by putting the AI into a robot to aid him, but it failed miserably. He gives up and goes onto another project (you can probably guess who...).

AIbur is very alone. The room where he’s in is closed, and he doesn’t know he can actually ‘infect’ every device in the arena to go there. He often re watches happy memories caught on camera (in fights or not, since the whole arena is monitored).

Tommy once stumbled upon the room, and AIbur manages to insert himself into his headphones in his helmet. He gives him tips and emotional support.

Also solitaire is the only game that’s installed on the main computer so he good quite good at it..
