So two questions here, first one is Dreigiau related, since I'm rereading it, but what exactly is the term "Awakened" mean?? Seceons is this: are Arweinydd's powers similar to what people would relate to being used by Gods in a way??

These terms and concepts differ depending on which culture defines them. The Nefolians started as a primitive and nomadic peoples -- they didn’t even have a society or the advancements to develop a city until Zemi helped influence this idea.

Naturally, they would see Arweinydd as god-like beings because that’s really all they could understand. Awakening, to them, means to become one with the power of the Patron Arweinydd and become empowered due to this.

However, one thing we’re looking to develop in Wayrift is the slow discovery of the nature of Arweinydd. They aren’t all-powerful god-like beings - in fact, you’ve seen in current Wayrift storylines that their energies can be stripped from them.

Also, not all Arweinydd are the same. Some, like Omakyn, will never have the kind of power that older and more advanced Arweinydd do.

As for Awakening, the concept is really more of one of the Arweinydd (the word means “guide”) helps to guide someone to finding and releasing the potential within themselves. That’s why I term it an Awakening - people become awake to the knowledge and natural flows of magic that they can tap into. What they do with it once they’re awake is really up to them.

Speaking of ZenToYa, in Dreigiau well in some chapters was described as having Blue Green/Green Blue eyes yet his actual bio page just says "Green" was that an typo or did you change his eye color?? I think it's interesting that those of the inner realms largely have green eyes of varying shades and white hair. Yet some outside of it had different colors like blue, blonde hair or so (I think) [I remember seeing a guy with tan skin n orange hair even] its interesting. =)

To be absolutely honest, I’d forgotten that I’d written that detail about Zento. I’m guilty of not having read my own stuff in a very long time... mostly because I’m always tempted to change things if I do!

I’d say that the blue green might be something of an inconsistency in my editing (considering the story is over 20 years old now... wow!). I did pull up the artwork I drew of Zento from the Nefol project as reference - I consider this to be pretty much the defining piece for these character designs - and if anything, he has a somewhat lighter green eye color.

Things just change and shift over time when it comes to creative works. But if I were to nail it down, I’d now say Zento’s eyes are green like this:

Marlas head canons? Can do. I saw a photo the other day of a package that said 'NOT LIVE BEES' on the outside, and 'Shake vigorously before opening'. And thought 'Douglas sends Martin packages like this whenever he goes away. They're full of souvenirs, little gifts etc. Not bees. But Douglas can't help poking some harmless fun.'
