Draw Dinos Daily, day 12! I've been drawing extinct ones with friend's reccomendations of animals. Velvet worm pattern doesn't really fit a dromornis lol

Valley of Lost Paws

An original story set in an alternate Australia where thylacines never went extinct.

Hidden deep within the wilderness lies the Valley of Lost Paws, a refuge for thylacines and many other animals. Here, families grow, friendships are formed, old legends are remembered, and new adventures begin.

This project follows the lives of Blaze, Ember, Finn, Lucy, Fae, and many other residents of the valley as they face challenges, protect their loved ones, and discover their place in the world.

These are some of my early character designs, sketches, and worldbuilding ideas. More characters, lore, and artwork will be shared in the future.

I need some ideas for what Madara and Izuna (twenty three and nineteen years old) are gonna do fucking around a chocobo ranch for a few days

Rn I have Madara delighting in watching the races. I hc him as a total gambler just like Hashirama and he bets on horse races all the time. I know nothing about horse racing bets and even less about gambling so you can imagine my stress trying to write this

Izuna is flirting with every pretty civilian girl nearby. This is somehow not hampered by 1: the mask he's forced to wear rn or 2: being a spooky scary shinobi. My man got some rizz

At some point Madara gets in a yelling competition with a black chocobo. It's screeching at him, he's yelling at it for being a dumb bird, and somehow he comes out of this with the damn thing determined to follow him home. Madara prefers birds that can actually FLY thank you

Izuna has somehow been coerced into riding one. He's having a blast inventing riding tricks. They're lucky Ignis can't see someone identical to Noctis doing a handstand on a running chocobo

Someone catches Noctis napping in a pile of chocobos. Izuna decides that looks comfy and joins him. Madara is having heart palpitations

Someone gets to meet Dromornis the god of chocobos and see a ten foot tall fat golden chocobo run faster than the speed of light.

A rainstorm happens maybe so we get to see the differences between worshipping Ramuh and worshipping Susanoo and the problems that ensue when a god goes by Both names

Paleovember 2023, Dromornis!

Staying in Australia for a bit, turns out emus and cassowaries weren't always the only large birds to worry about down under! Dating back to the Pliocene, the genus Dromornis were titans of their time and place, with one species in particular, D. stirtoni, estimated to grow up to ten feet tall, making it the largest bird to ever exist! It's powerful beak and jaws allowed it to cut and crush vegetation (though it likely also scavenged on occasion).
