Marketing from testing kit companies like this saddens me. This is just a Marquis reagent, repacked as a "Fentanyl" reagent, giving the user the illusion that if there's fentanyl, you get a clear "orange" result, and if it's heroin, you get a clear "purple" result. This clear cut result would only be the case if the tested batch were not contaminated. Not to mention that it only takes 3mg or so of fentanyl to be an overdose amount, and 3mg is equivalent to just a few specs of powder, so you would have to be testing a portion of the drug that contains fentanyl in the first place for it to be detected. However, I will take into consideration that NARK tests are geared towards law enforcement use. The types of testing law enforcement would be more for determining if the substance present is illegal. Both substances are scheduled, so the accuracy of which it is is likely irrelevant to them. However, I have seen similar misrepresented reagents with EZ Test, such as their "Cocaine Cuts" kit, which is just a repackaged Mandelin, with a different reaction chart. #harmreduction #drugchecking #fentanyl #heroin #overdoseprevention #narcan #naloxone
