Magic subject: color pie breaks in commander

It's an eternal format with an eternal card pool, they'll exist. They're never made on purpose, so it's fine, it's just a bit weird when they become staples by virtue of being the only access the color has to the effect and being somewhat efficient as well. Not a lot more to say here.

Oh! Actually, I have a Jund commander deck that's filled with nothing but color pie bends and breaks, it's very funny to use green for your creature removal, black for your artifact removal and red for card draw. It hasn't been updated in a while, but here's a link to it.

Drunk magic is the best. 

So starting in the afternoon we started exploring the festival, checking out the vendors, listening to the music, and of course drinking. That would have been fun enough, but then I got asked about the Avatar of Ice by one of Lexi’s friends, and then random strangers overheard and started asking about it, and then the rumor that I was there spread around the festival, and then one of the artists cajoled me into coming up on stage and singing (badly. Very, very badly). 

Then the sun went down and drunk magic started.

A staple of every autumn festival around the globe (or at least around Florida), it’s standard to get plastered on seasonal beer, find yourself an open space with no flammable buildings, and shoot off shiny magic into the night sky and hope nobody dies. It was a terrific evening, and this is why it’s one of my favorite holidays.

I woke up late today, and I'll end up writing about this afternoon/evening's events tomorrow.

So I woke up in my dorm hallway last night forgetting how I got there attempting to use my headphones to unlock the magnetic lock. I then realized what I was doing and for some reason had this intense hatred for Orzhov because I was convinced it was their fault I was locked out of my room.

I have no idea what Orzhov is and only heard it in passing from my magic friends.

I need to stop drinking.
